Chapter 1: The Party

A/N: Hi! This is my new fanfic about Scott Hoying from the talented band Pentatonix! BTW I know Scott is Bisexual or Gay (IDK) but let's just imagine he isn't in this story! Also Jade is the name of the girl who meets Scott. Brooklyn is Jade's Cousin too. I hope you like it... OK let's go!!!

This is Jade:

Jade POV:

I was getting ready to go to this baby gender reveal party with my cousin (her best friend Lindsay was pregnant), when she called me to ask what I was wearing. As I thought it was gonna be a boy, I wore a bit of blue:

I then walked cautiously down the stairs in heels and made my way down stairs. As my cousin was like 30 ish and I was 25, I thought that there wouldn't be anyone to talk to, so I was kinda regretting agreeing with my mom to actually go, but I like food and parties so I should be ok.

Brooklyn POV:

I was really excited that Jade was coming, my baby sis! There were actually two reasons why I wanted Jade to come: First, to keep my company and Second, my best friend Lindsay has a brother (Scott) who she claims is funny, tall, single, handsome, 25 years old and thinks is perfect for Jade, so that's mainly why I dragged her to come with me, but she doesn't know this. I pulled up to Lindsay's house, and directed Jade and myself to the front door. When I walked in I looked at Lindsay and hugged her.

Lindsay POV:

I looked up at Jade, hugged her and said how beautiful she looked especially today, when she meets my brother Scott! Brooklyn texted me the night before and she told me to lead Jade to where Scott was sitting so they could meet! As I walked up to Scott, he was playing with Landon (His nephew). He got up to hug me and Brooklyn, as he knew her a bit. As Brooklyn moved away, standing behind her was Jade! I pushed Jade gently toward Scott. Scott's face was precious, he looked shocked in a good way (I think he was admiring Jade's beauty). Brooklyn and I giggled a bit and then I said "We'll leave you two alone!"

Jade POV:

OMG he is so hot, I think he was 'Checking me out' and I was totally blushing. To break the awkwardness, I held out my hand and said "Uh hi, my name is Jade." He looked down at my hand, shook it and said "Hi, I'm Scott nice to meet you." I smiled and then looked down at the cute, little boy who had gotten bored so started to play with my ankle bracelet, which kinda tickled. I kneeled down to reach his height, and said in a higher pitched voice, "Hi there little fella!"

Scott POV:

Woah, Jade is the most beautiful girl I've ever met... ever! I said to Jade "This is Landon, my nephew!" She picked him up, tickled his stomach for a bit and looked up and me with a smile and replied saying, "He is just precious! You must be a very proud Uncle!" I smiled back, and then asked her to sit down. Landon sat comfortably on Jade's lap, playing with her rings, which I found really cute, as we talked for a while:

Scott and Jade's Conversation:

Scott: "So, how do you know Lindsay?"

Jade: "Oh, I'm Brooklyn's cousin she wanted me to come with her for some reason! What about you?"

Scott: "I'm her brother! And Landon is my other sisters, Lauren's, son!"

(A/N Italics means talking to their selves)

Jade: "Oh, I had no idea! So, do you think the gender is going to be?" I knew he thinks it'll be a boy because of his blue shirt:

Scott: "I think boy, and I'm guessing you think that too because of your blue skirt!"

Jade: "Yeah! Anyways, what's your job?"

Scott: "Oh! I'm a singer actually! I'm in the band Pentatonix!"

Jade: "Oh my gosh that's amazing! I've seen you're 'Daft Punk' Medley! I thought you looked familiar!"

Scott: "Yeah! Though I actually have facial hair now! What about you?"

Jade: "In LA, where I live, I work in a cafe which is fun, but I could do better as a 25 year old!"

Scott: "You live in LA? You're 25 years old? This is weird!!!"

Jade: "Why? Is something wrong?"

Scott: "Sorry if I scared you, but no I live in LA, and I'm 25 too! You are also really tall even in heels, which is great, because I don't have you look down at you!"

Jade: "Oh really! That is weird! Also I love to sing too, and on weekends at the Café, I entertain people by singing songs like Hallelujah, Somebody That I Used To Know and many Christmas Songs!"

Scott: "OMG Pentatonix has covered Hallelujah, Somebody That I Used To Know and we have 3 Christmas albums! It's like we were meant to meet! I don't think I've met someone so similar to me other than my best friend Mitch!"

Jade: "Yeah, same! But I don't have many friends, only one who works with me, but I don't think she even likes me though. So, when are you flying back to LA?"

Scott: "On Tuesday, so 2 days and my plane leaves at 3:30 pm, and you?"

Jade: "All I can say in on Tuesday, so 2 days and my plane leaves at 3:30 pm. What the hell is going on!!!"

Scott: "What the heck!!! This is super weird! Wait are you Gate 18?"

Jade: "My gate is Gate 18!!!! That means we could go together! This is so crazy!"

Scott: "Oh yeah! We could go together, let's do it! But you probably need my number though, uh here."

Jade: "Thanks, here's mine!"

Scott: "I'm still trying to work out how you don't have many friends, because you are really cool, and unique!"

Jade: "Aww that's really sweet Scott, thank you! You are really cool too, I've never met anyone like you ever!"
