Chapter 13: Is Kirstie OK?

Jade POV:

I woke up next to Scott down stairs, and went to make breakfast as I let him sleep for a bit. I brushed my teeth and tied my hair into a messy side braid. I got up and decided to make a full breakfast for the both of us including: waffles, bacon, eggs and fruit.

Scott POV:

I turned to hug Jade, but she wasn't there. I immediately woke up, and sat up as I smelt waffles coming from the kitchen. I realized that she was making breakfast in the kitchen, and sighed in relief. I brushed my teeth and then sneaked up on her, because she always scares me! I softly tip toed into the kitchen and grabbed her by the waist and I picked her up. "BOO!" I screamed as turned around and jumped. "Babe! I nearly burned you with the pan!" She said as I put her down. I laughed as she put the pan down and turned around to face me. "What are you doing baby?" I said very curiously as she smirked at me mischievously. Jade hugged me, but then started tickling me as I didn't have a shirt in obviously. Because she got her nails done, they tickled a lot! "Babe! OK, I'm sorry for scaring you!" I said as I laughed loudly. She smiled at me and finally stopped. "I love you Scotty!" She said as she kissed me and returned to cooking the bacon. "I love you too babe." I said as I went and set the table. "Need some help actually babe?" I said as I kissed Jade's cheek. "Actually yes! Can you get the Eggo Waffles and toast them? I can do everything else!" She said as I hugged her from behind. "Of course, baby!" I said as I did what Jade asked.

Jade POV:

I plated up our breakfast, which looked delicious if I do say so myself!

We ate and watched 'Good Morning America' which was very relaxing. "You are such a good cook babe! I could never make food as good as this!" said Scott kindly as he took a huge bite of everything! "Thanks babe, anything for my prince!" I said as I giggled and kissed his cheek. We ate and got ready, because Esther called Scott and I to tell us that we have a 1 hour meeting at 2:30 pm. It was 11:00 am when we were both fully ready, so we decided to go and visit Kirstie and Jeremy because I made cookies and wanted to give them some... and see Olaf! Scott drove as I held the box of cookies, because I didn't exactly know where they lived quite yet!

Scott POV:

I pulled up and parked the car in their drive, because Kirstie lets us. Jade and I got out of the car with the cookies and knocked on their door excitedly. It took longer for her to open the door, but then finally Mitch opened the door. "Mitch?! What are you doing here? Where's Kirstie?" I said as I looked at Jade in shock. "Come in we'll explain once you come and sit down." said Mitch as we went in and sat next to Kirstie who looked depressed. "Oh my gosh, Kirstie are you ok?" said Jade as she sat down and hugged her. "No, um Jeremy cheated on me." said Kirstie as she still hugged Jade and started crying even more. "What?! He will learn from his mistakes!" I said as I stood up and looked at her still in tears. "Babe, not right now." said Jade as she dragged me to sit down. "Sorry, how did you find out?" I said in curiosity. Kirstie looked up and began telling us the story:

Kirstie POV: (A/N has a bit of swearing in it!)

Flashback to yesterday afternoon-evening ish:

I walked into the house at about 4:00 pm ish and Olaf greeted me excitedly, as I called to Jeremy. I expected him to be here, because he didn't tell me about any plans he had. I walked to the kitchen to feed Olaf, when I saw a note from Jeremy:

Hi honey, I had a call from my boss saying I have a meeting till 10. The venue is an hour drive, so I'm staying with my brother for a night or two. Don't worry about me, I love you see you soon. -Jeremy xoxo

I looked and read the note which was absolute bullshit because Jeremy's brother lives in Philadelphia, and it takes 5 hours to get there on a plane, so he was lying to me. Once I had realized this, I called Mitch to come over, because he would defiantly help. "Hey Mitch, can you come over, it's really urget!" I said through the phone. "Course I'll be right over!" he said as I waited for 2 minutes. I opened the door for him, and explained and showed him everything. "WTF! Call that Bitch right now, because this is messed up!" he said as I dialled Jeremy's number. It went into voicemail twice, but on the third one, someone picked up. "Hello? Who is this? This is Jeremy's girlfriend speaking!" said a sluty voice as I looked over at Mitch in shock. "Jeremy's girlfriend? This is Jeremy's fiancé speaking?!" I said in anger and Mitch clenched my hand. "Baby, who are you talking to, hang up and let me put myself inside you!" said a douche version of Jeremy's voice. "JEREMY?! WTF!!! BITCH GIVE HIM THE PHONE RIGHT NOW!" I screamed in rage as Mitch tried to calm me down. "Hello, who is this?" said Jeremy. "THIS IS YOUR EX FIANCÉ KIRSTIN SPEAKING. DON'T BOTHER TO TRY AND SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE WE ARE OVER!" I said as I threw my ring across the room, and started balling my eyes out. "Kirstie?! Um I can explain!" he said as Mitch took my phone. "Save it DICK HEAD!" he said as he hung up and hugged me tightly. I had mascara all over my eyes, and my lipstick had smudged, I looked a mess. I ran up to my room as Mitch followed me. I took the framed picture of Jeremy and I on my bed side table and threw it at the wall as I paced up and down. "Honey! Calm down!" said Mitch as he stopped me forcefully and sat me on my bed. "You need to take it down a few notches!" He said as I rested my head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry, I just wasn't expected my fiancé to cheat on me." I said as Mitch rubbed my head. "I'm here for you Kirst don't worry." he said as he stood up. "Where are you going?" I said as I took his hand. "We are gonna grab some food because I'm starving!" He said as I smiled and went to fix my horrible makeup. We went to In-N-Out because we both love it there. Mitch's company always made me feel really happy, because we were best friends and we've been through so much together. "I'm gonna stay over tonight to keep your company ok!" he said as my face lit up. "Wait really?! Like a sleepover!" I said as I grabbed his hand as he concentrated on the road. "Yeah! But we need to stop off at mine to get Wyatt and some stuff." He said in excitement. We pulled up at Scott and Mitch's house as Mitch got out and I stayed in the car waiting for him. I looked though my phone and looked at all the photos of Jeremy and I and deleted them. I realized that Jeremy had been cheating on me for a long time because when ever he said he had a business meeting, it had always been at least a 1 or 2 hour drive, and he would always stay for a few days, and I never thought anything of it, but he was going to see his 'girlfriend' behind my back. I wonder if he was gonna tell me. I then blocked his number and Mitch returned to the car with Wyatt and his bag, as he got in and drove back to mine. At this point, it was 6:00 pm so Mitch and I watched 'The Bachelorette' as we ate ice cream and looked at all of the hot guys because I was single! "You are the best Mitch, I love you!" I said as I hugged him. "It's ok Kirst, I love you too honey!" He said as he kissed my for head (in a friendly way.) I made pasta because we weren't really hungry after In-N-Out but, we still had to eat dinner. After we ate and drank some wine, we went to bed.

Present time:

Jade POV:

After Kirstie told us the story, Scott and I were in shock. "Why would he do that to the most beautiful girl I've ever met." I said as I hugged her to make her feel better. "Thanks Jade. Actually can you do my makeup because you are really good at it!" She said as my face lit up. "Definitely! I would love to!" I said as she stood up and led me to her room.
