Chapter 3: Our Connection

Scott POV:

I was thinking about Jade as I was helping Lindsay pack up the decorations from the party, when she started talking.

Scott and Lindsay's Conversation: (A/N sorry if it's very similar to Jade and Brooklyn's conversation!)

Lindsay: "At least you and Jade met today finally!"

I looked over at Lindsay in shock.

Scott: "Wait, you made us meet deliberately? Why did you do that?"

Lindsay: "Well, Brooklyn and I realised that you too are so similar! And Jade would be a really nice sister-in-law too!"

Scott: "Ok, now your teasing me. But thanks in a way, I'm glad we met, she is really cute!"

Lindsay: "There's the spirit! Oh, did you find out about the airport thingy?"

Scott: "Yes! We even arranged to go together! Oh my gosh, I need to tell her, I'm gonna call her!"

Lindsay: "You already got her number? You go bro! I'll leave you to it!"

I rolled my eyes at Lindsay and called Jade, I had butterflies for some reason!

Jade POV:

I picked up the FaceTime call, and all I could do is smile when I saw his face. "Hey Jade!" He said politely. "Hi Scott, what's up?" I replied. "Has Brooklyn talked to you yet?" He said pausing a few times. "Errr yes, about the plane journey and everything right?" I said while feeling really awkward.

Scott POV:

Jade started to blush which was really cute, so I bravely told her that. "You look really cute when you blush!" She smiled and embarrassedly covered her mouth. I glanced over at Lindsay, who was obviously eaves dropping, who was jumping up and down because I called Jade cute. I mean, it was true.

Jade POV:

Did Scott just call me cute?!?! I had to say something to stop me from blushing, so I did. "Uhhh, thank you, you look really cute in your snapback!" (A/N italics means talking to their selves) I didn't just say that to my crush oh crap, oh crap. Scott laughed at my awkwardness and said "Thank you Jade, much appreciated!" while still laughing a bit. "Sorry, I've never talked to a boy through my phone before, you can probably tell though because of my awkwardness." I replied really quickly. "Yes, I can tell you are nervous because you are talking really fast!" He said caringly. "Oh sorry, no wonder I'm out of breathe!" I replied panting a bit.

Scott POV:

"Jade, has anyone ever told you how beautiful you are?" I said whilst admiring her beauty. "Um, does an old lady count? If not, then no." She said cutely. "Well, that old lady was defiantly right!" I said whilst smiling so hard, it made my mouth hurt. "You are the kindest person I've ever met. I think you are very handsome Scott." She said lovingly.

Jade POV:

I looked at Brooklyn who was excited but was cringing at the same time! I looked back at Scott, and said, "Can we text each other because Brooklyn is cringing hard!" Scott looked at me appealingly and said "Yeah sure, Lindsay is probably too!" I giggled as we switched over to texting each other.

Jade and Scott's Messages:

Scott: Maybe tomorrow we can hang out, because I have something to tell you.

Jade: Yeah! That sounds fun! :)

Scott: There is a nice Coffee shop in town, I can pick you up and take you there!

Jade: That sounds fun, I love coffee! I mean as 25 year olds, we need it!

Scott: LOL yes! So I can pick you up at 12:30 pm and we could have brunch!

Jade: I love brunch perfect! Wait, is it like a date?

Scott: I guess, do you wanna go on a date with me? :)

Jade: I'd love to go on a date with you Scott! <3

Scott: Great! I guess I'll see you tomorrow then.

Jade: Bye Scott xx
