Chapter 5: The First Date

Jade POV:
I was kind of freaking out because I didn't know what to wear and how to do my makeup, so I ended up looking like this:

With this make up:

And this hair:

I was so excited! I'm also unsure of what Scott has to tell me, I hope it's that he likes me.

Scott POV:

It was 11:05am when the necklace came, which was perfect. So far I have gotten up at 8:30am, brushed my teeth, showered, done my hair and gotten ready. I looked like this:

Because where Jade was staying took about 35 minutes to get to, I left at 11:30 am so I could get there and see her earlier.

Jade POV:

I woke up so early, that I had nothing to do other than go to the shops and buy Scott a gift. So at 11:55 am I went to get Scott a Snapback because I liked the one he had on at the party. I got him a blue on with 'I'm a Hugger' on it because he gives good hugs!

Scott POV:

Once I got there, Brooklyn opened the door and I asked where Jade was. "She went out like 5 minutes ago, but she'll back soon. Come in! You can surprise her!" She said. I nodded and sat in the living room. After about 5 minutes, the door rang, so Brooklyn got up to open it, as I got up. Jade, looking so beautiful, looked shocked as she came up to hug me. "What are you doing here Scott? It's 12:00 pm!" She said excitedly. "I thought I'd surprise you so I came earlier!" I replied. "Well, I got you this!" She said politely as she handed me a bag which read 'American Apparel'.

Jade POV:

At this point, Brooklyn had left the room as I gave Scott the bag containing the hat. He looked in the bag whilst smiling and pulled out the snapback I purchased. "Do you like it?" I said to him in a cute voice. "Wow, I love it! For this, you get another hug!" He said happily as he opened his arms. As I hugged Scott, I felt safe. I looked up at his bright, blue eyes, whilst still hugging him, and smiled.

Scott POV:

"Right, we should get going!" I said as I looked into her precious hazel brown eyes. She nodded and smiled at me, and we made our way to my car. I opened the passenger door for her as she got in and I closed it for her too. I got in the car, put my seat belt on and started driving. "What songs do you wanna listen to?" I asked curiously. "Um I've never heard you sing, so I wanna listen to some Pentatonix music please!" She replied caringly. "Ok, as you choose my lady!" I said and we laughed together. I put the CD in, and 'New Year's Day' came on which was good, because one, I'm the main singer in it, and two, my voice sounds good in it!

Jade POV:

"Wow, is this you? You sound amazing!" I said as I started dancing along to the beat. "Thank you! I have been singing for like 20 years!" He replied in honour. "That is a long time! No wonder you have such a talent!" I replied sweetly. We arrived at the coffee shop, Scott pulled up and helped me out of the car like a true gentleman. We walked into the cute coffee shop and went to the part where you wait to get escorted to your seat. The lady came up to us and said "Awww are you too on a date!" Scott and I looked at each other.

Scott POV:

Jade and I looked at each other. "Uhhh Kinda I guess, table for two please." I said awkwardly. The lady looked at me and mouthed 'Sorry' as she noticed we weren't really "together." We sat down at the table, and ordered. The coffee came first because the food takes longer. We sat and talked for a while, whilst drinking our coffee, when I remembered that I hadn't given Jade her gift, so I did. "Oh," I said to get her attention. "What's up?" She said eagerly. "Um, I got you 2 gifts actually, but forgot to give them to you." I said whilst getting the box with the necklace in it. "Oh, you didn't have to Scott." She said as she put down her coffee. I told her to close her eyes and put her hands out. I placed the box in her hand and told Jade to open her eyes.

Jade POV:

I opened my eyes and looked down at the small box in my hands and looked up at Scott confusingly. "Open it!" He said excitedly. I opened the box to reveal a rose gold necklace with a music note on it. "Oh my gosh Scott, I love it! Thank you so much!" I said as I got up to hug Scott. I put it on as he admired it and said "It's perfect, you look beautiful!" I looked into him blue eyes and said "Didn't you say there were 2 gifts?" He nodded as he held my hands, which lied in his. I got butterflies, and smiled at him. "Jade, I know we met only yesterday, but as soon as I saw you, I have had feelings for you. Not friendly ones, but more than friends feelings, if that makes sense!" He said while staring into my eyes. "Well Scott, I feel the same way and have wished for us to be more than friends since we met!" I replied.

Scott POV:

OMG! I didn't think that would go so well! Our food arrived, we ate it and I paid for the food obviously! On the way back, Jade put her hand on mine when I was changing gears. At that moment, in my mind, all I could think is that Jade was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. When I pulled up to Brooklyn's house, I opened the door for Jade, and held her hand as we walked to the door. I turned to Jade to ask her one more question. "Jade," I said to her. "Yes Scott." She said lovingly as she turned to me. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I said as I held her soft hands. "Yes Scott! I'd Love to be your girlfriend!" She said excitedly as she went in to kiss me. I put my hands around her hips as she put hers around my neck. After about 20 seconds of kissing, she pulled away to hug me. She hugged me tightly as she whispered in my ear "I've never kissed anyone before, you made it really special." I looked at her and kissed her again for less time and said "I love you Jade."
