Kylee's mother shows up in her black car. She starts walking into the school, looking nervous. She enters the building and shakes the principals hand.
"Mrs. Marshall, your daughter was found crying on the bathroom floor." Kylee's mom looks at her it's one of those looks, not of hatred but of comfort.
"Yes, care to explain Kylee?"
Kylee leans close to her mother and whispers, "Ron. He's um, back."
Her mom's eyes widen, "excuse me sir but we have to go."
"What do you mean? You need to explain yourselves, what is happening?"
They both leave without saying anything to him, they get in the car and just drive. "Want some ice cream?" Her mom asks with a forced smile on her face.
"Mom, it's okay. I'm fine, Ron is quiet right now."
"We are going to take a ride to see your therapist. I don't care whether you want to see her or not but, we are." She looks at Kylee waiting for a complaint, but she is silent. "Okay cool no complaints, want to play your music on the way there?" Kylee's eyes brighten up and she nods yes while getting out her phone. The first song that decides to play is Ride by Twenty Øne Piløts. "What song is this?" Her mom asks.
"Ride." Kylee says quietly.
"Heh, what a coincidence."
"What do you mean?" Kylee asks while turning towards her mom.
"Well, you are taking your time on your ride, so I thought it was funny that's all. Nice chat." They both laugh and Kylee turns the music up a little.
