Elora awoke early that morning. From what she could tell it was only four, she quietly got up she grabbed her bag of clothes and left the room. She changed from her dress she had fallen asleep in to a tunic. Almost as soon as she reached the kitchen a voice made her jump.
"Take good care of my kings, your kings."
It was Orieus, being as stern as ever, yet she saw something in his eyes. Admiration, perhaps.
"Yes sir, General Orieus." She nodded. He handed her a sword and shield.
"My very own, when i was a young colt. It will fit you perfectly." He said. She took it and put the sword belt on. He was correct, it fit perfectly.
"Oh, thank you, Orieus." She hugged him slightly. He patted her back.
"Queen Susan said you would need this. He handed her another bag, filled with dried food and water skins.
"Is Queen Susan awake?" She asked. He nodded."The kings are still asleep. But Queen Susan hasn't slept a wink, I would presume."
"Do you perhaps know where she is currently?" Elora asked. Orieus nodded and motioned to the library. Elora thanked him and went into the library quietly.
"Queen Susan?" She called softly. Susan up looked at her.
"Oh, Lady Elora! I'm glad you are awake. I have something to let you use on your trip." She handed Elora one more leather pouch. Elora opened it and gasped. An ivory horn sat delicately in the pouch. Elora looked up tears in her eyes.
"Oh thank you! Thank you!" She flung her arms around the older girls neck. Susan giggled slightly and rubbed Elora's back.
"Thank you." Susan said, Elora let go of Susan and looks out a window. The sky was getting slightly lighter.
"Should the kings be getting up soon?" She asked, Susan chuckled and shook her head.
"I'll go wake them. I've had one of the fauns saddle non-talking horses for you to ride until the woods then you can sell them in the city beside the woods."
"Oh, Susan. You truely thought of everything! Thank you once again!" Elora exclaimed. Susan smiled.
"Go down to the stables and claim your horse before Edmund does. He'll get the best one that way." Susan said, Elora nodded and left quickly to the stables. She got out to the stables in less than five minutes. A faun was there handling the horses. The faun's name was... she struggled to remember. She believed it was Dorian.
"Good morning, Lady Elora. You had a fine rest, I presume." Dorian said. She smiled and nodded.
"Yes I did. What are these horses' named?" She asked. Dorian pointed at each one and said it's name. The black one was Zahar, the light grey one was Stea and the light brown one was Princesa Caballo.
After about ten minutes she chose Stea and waited for Edmund and Peter impatiently.
