Chapter 5: Agreement

Edmund looked at Peter, he knew the dark circles under Peter's eyes were also under his as well.

"I'm not sure about this." Peter said cautiously. Edmund nodded in agreement.

"I know. I don't know what I think of it either. But if it is the only way to get Lucy..." Edmund trailed off. Peter placed a hand on his younger brother's shoulder.

"We'll find Lucy. I promise." Peter said. Edmund nodded and took a deep breath.

"So we're in agreement?" He asked. Peter nodded silently.

"Yes. I do suppose I do." He answered quietly. Edmund slowly left the room to find Elora.

Edmund found Elora getting ready to finish cleaning up.

"When do we leave?" He asked, not even explaining that they agreed, Elora knew anyways.

"How about tomorrow at dawn. Will you be ready, King Edmund?"

"Yes. I will. I'm not quite sure about Peter. He might be half asleep." Edmund managed a small smile. Elora smiled as well.

"Good. Pack lightly, only the necessities. No need to overpack on things we will not need. Your majesty." She said, Edmund nodded.

"Since we will be traveling for a while together i guess you may drop the formality." Edmund stated reluctantly. Elora nodded.

"Yes, your maj- Edmund." She curtsied as he left.

After Edmund left, Elora went to her room and opened her small chest of belonging. She found a knapsack and pulled out the clothing. She gently placed them into the bag, then she found the fanciest dress she had and also put it in the bag. Then she placed in on the edge of her bed and fell asleep quickly.
