I woke up one day, it was my tenth birthday and I couldn't see Itachi anywhere. I looked all over the place and he was nowhere to be found. I thought that he was out getting food for himself but as I waited, time passed and he didn't come back. "Where's Itachi?" I asked myself climbing down the stairs of the tree house to the ground. I started walking through the forest in search of anyone or Itachi. He could be hurt, but I didn't know. I continued walking for seconds, minutes, hours, days, months and even years. I counted the days in the deserts, the jungle, the forests, the beaches, the paths. Three years passed and I thought I was hallucinating but I saw two kids fighting with each other. One with white hair, the other with bluish hair. "W-Wait! H-Help p-please!!!" I called starting to run but tripped over and fell on my side hurting my arm. You see Demons can't eat but we can get sick/hurt. The two kids helped me up and escorted me carefully to their place where their parents were waiting for them. "You two have been at it again haven't you? And who's the little kitten?" The woman asked sternly. "She saw us fighting but fell over, she said she needed some help, we don't know what help she needs but we gotta tend to her wounds first," The woman nods and looks at me carefully. She sighs and smiles. "Alright dear, let's get you in a bed, we'll try to help the best we can," She and the two boys help me lie down in a bed without hurting my arm. The boy with the white hair tended to my needs, he bandaged my arm, combed my hair, helped me sleep, all the needs that someone needs done when they're hurt. "So kitty, what help did you need?" He asked playing with my cat ears. I haven't seen his face for the last couple hours, so I didn't know what he looked like. "I got out of safety to find someone... I searched everywhere for my second sensei, but I couldn't find him... he just disappeared and I went out to search for him, but it took years, and I didn't find him...." A tear fell down my cheek but he sat in front of me and cupped my face with his hands. "Hey, hey... it's okay, someday you'll find him. Don't worry about it.. for now just worry about yourself, we still need to get your arm healed, and that's going to take a while." He wiped away the tear with his thumb and I looked up at him for the first time. He had piercings in his ears, nose, mouth, and tongue. My eyes widened and the thought of touching the piercings came into my mind. "Heh, sure, go ahead, I won't mind." He chuckled. "But, only if I get to see your pentagram," I nodded and he chuckled. "Go on ahead," I shakily brush my fingers against the piercings, except for the one on his tongue of course. I brushed my thumb against the lip piercing and he quickly kissed my thumb. I blushed and removed my hand quickly. "Sorry, it's a habit." He chuckled giving a small grin. "By the way, I never got your name." My blush turned darker, and I looked away mumbling my name. "Kuro eh? I'm Kitani, you know, it's a good thing that you got here to the Leaf Village alive." I stayed silent, holding my arm in place. "You don't talk much do you? That's fine," He laughed a bit. "Here, give me your arm, kitten," I handed my arm over and he placed it on his lap, unraveling the bandages that surrounded my bare arm. "Oh by the way.." I looked up at him, quiet and speechless. "You've got a cute name."
