Second letter! ㄷ is for Door or maybe Dog if you see it more like a Dog barking!!
It's airy but not TOO airy, or you'll be pronouncing its alternate version, ㅌ. In Korean, the third letters in syllables are called batchim (받침). When ㄷ is a batchim, you don't pronounce it as a ㄷ. In fact, this happens in all cases except for L, H, N, and M. THIS SEEMS COMPLICATED TOO BUT YOU'LL KNOW BECAUSE PRONOUNCING IT WILL SOUND WEIRD. Instead of saying ㄷ, your mouth would begin to pronounce it then stop itself. For example, if the word is nad (낟) you wouldn't pronounce it nadddd, where the d is clear. You'd pronounce it almost like na with a pause, so that people know it's not just nah; there's a consonant directly after the a. Understand? It's alright if you don't. My explanation is terrible. Once you begin to read, you'll understand. And if you don't, you can always message me! It's the D in Daehyun (대현) and the D in Dari (다리), which means leg! If you listen to Crowtit (AKA Baepsae or Try-Hard), Suga's part talks about bird legs and you'll hear the word Dari (다리) at the end of the rhymes. Right when he does the Drake move in the mirrored dance video <3
Don't forget to comment, like, add to your reading list, spread the word!! I answer questions. If this gets out enough I might make one for learning actual Korean!!
