Sixth letter! ㄴ is for Nose cuz look at it. It's like a cartoon Nose or a tikki Nose!!
Same as ㅁ being confused with ㅂ, you've probably heard in dramas when they say Ne (네 which means yes), where the N sounds like a D! Same example as the previous chapter: wae Nae mameul heundeuneun geondae? (왜 내 맘을 흔드는 건대?) the N in Nae (내, which means my) sounds like a D at times. There's no rules for it!! It's just a way natives can pronounce it at times.
Pronounciation tip! Instead of putting the tip of your tongue at your roof when forming the ㄴ Nose, put it right where the back of your front teeth meet the roof of your mouth. It'll help you find that happy medium betweem D and N and you'll sound native in no time!! Lemme rephrase in case my intructions weren't very good. We put our tongues to the roof of our mouths to pronounce Nose, right? To sound like the Korean ㄴ, we put our tongues at the root of our front teeth, right behind them where they are planted.
Don't forget to comment, like, add to your reading list, spread the word!! I answer questions. If this gets out enough I might make one for learning actual Korean!!
