Leia
I made my way through the maze, otherwise known as hallways to this giant home. I stood in the door way watching as Licas threw Kendan into the air, my ears were blessed with the sound of his screaming giggles instead of cries.
The smile on his little face took my breath away while Licas' nearly melted me.
This is my little family. It made me wonder about other children, a life with Licas. What could possibly come out of all of this?
Shaking myself from those thoughts I watched the two boys in my life that meant the world to me. Kendan was running between Licas and Misha. Pushing off of the doorway I left the room, searching for Marie. Entering the kitchen, I heard voices coming from the nook and moved my way into the hidden comfort room.
Upon entering I take in the comfort of the room, the open window concept brought in lots of natural light, as there was plenty of plush seating. It was a comfortable area. Standing in the doorway I watch on as Marie, Rein, Chelsea, and Kelsey were sitting on two 'L' shaped couches that were facing one another. Lightly knocking on the door frame I watched as all of their eyes turned to me.
Chelsea squealed and I lighted smiled at the group as they all welcomed me with open arms, quickly getting me back up to speed on whats all been happening.
Somehow Kelsey's baby got passed over to me so I was soaking up all the baby time. Kelsey and apparently the baby's father, who ended up being in the pack and her mate, decided to name her Leia. They were pretty much in a position much like Licas' and I. Except Judah, Kelsey's mate, was not happy about the whole Robert situation.
I gathered that from Chelsea still being here meant that she was going to go through the change as well. When I asked her if Max and Malcolm were staying as well she went on explaining how she and Max were practically dragging Malcolm with them.
That was the majority of all the drama that has been happening , slowly though the other halves started filtering in. Kelsey's mate entered first, in search of asking Kelsey something but ended up staying, interested in the conversation that we were having about the first community that we had lived in. He was a shorter man, but he was bulky which made him look proportioned, He had a caramel coloring, and a very distinct look from the rest of the people in the room. Leia took after him very much, that was for sure.
Malcolm came into the nook after him, hearing the laughing and went over to Chelsea's side without so much as a peep; he was a quiet one, that much was always obvious. Chelsea was the outgoing one of the two.
Rein didn't have a mate, and she shared that it was perfectly fine she didn't have one. She said she was still relatively young and still had plenty of time to find him, but if you looked into her eyes you could tell she was sad about all the couples that surrounded her.
Licas and Misha came in next with a passed out Kendan draped across his shoulder, I was still cradling little Leia to my chest as I stretched out on the couch with my feet up on the glass coffee table, much like everyone else.
