Chapter 13

I softly remove Niall's delicate fingers from my face. As I turn to walk away, I feel his wrist grasp onto my arm. I look back at him with a smile on my face. Knowing that he doesn't want me to leave him, even if we are happy together and safe at home, it still fills my heart to have someone like him be interested in a girl like me.

"Where are you going?" He gives me his famous puppy dog eyes. I often see these when we are grocery shopping he wants something, like a little kid.

"I want to go take a shower and get dressed."

"Oh..." He looked down at his feet and his face suddenly turned a red tint. "Can I come with you?"

Oh god. I am very self-conscious about myself. Never do I go flaunting my boobs and stomach to guys, especially not Niall. But I have lost some weight since high school and I'm not gonna lie, I bet I would look killer in a bikini right now. Eh, what the heck. I'm gonna YOLO with this one.

"Sure!" I smile at him. His head shoots up from looking down to now looking straight into my eyes.

"Really?! Okay, um...I'm gonna go get the shower ready." Before I know it, he is sprinting up the stairs.

Wow, I'm really gonna do this. I'm gonna let Niall see my naked body...maybe this isn't a good idea. What if he doesn't like what he see's? Even worse, what if he breaks up with me? While I'm stuck in my thoughts, I hear a yell from Niall upstairs.

"The water is still cold but we can start taking our clothes off. By the time we are done then it will be ready!" I can hear the joy in his voice.

I go into my room, locking the door so that Niall won't get a sneak peek of what will come his way any minute. Slowly slipping every bit of clothing off myself, I hear Niall scream from the bathroom. I rush over to my door, opening it the slightest bit.

"Babe? You okay?" I should be over there by him, but I'm currently naked.

"Yeah...the water is so hot. I think it just burnt my skin off my hand!" I laught at his response, then closing the door fully again.

I look around for a towel but there are none to be found in my mess of a room. Searching in a pile of dirty clothes, I find my bath robe. I smell it to make sure that it wont make anyone sufficate and die from the stench. It smells of lavendar soap and vanilla spray. Carely I slip it on and stroll back over to my door, unlocking it and walking out into the open.

Niall is in the bathroom. I walk over, pushing open the door and hear Niall singing in the shower. The smell of the coconut shampoo makes my nostrils tingle with delight. I clear my throat, making his angelic voice stop. He peeks out the side of the shower curtain, smiling at me.

"C'mon princess, hop in!" He motions towards him and the water. I can't help but to smile at him being adorable.

Slowly I untie the bow I made on the belt around my wrobe. Niall's eyes start to widen, making a giggle escape my mouth. As the bow comes to an end the rest of my wrobe collapses to the ground, leaving me standing there naked. I can see the excitement in his eyes as he looks me up and down, making me feel as if I'm the hottest girl that ever lived on Earth.

"Whoa! You're...you're beautiful!" He compliments, causing me to bit my lip. "You ready to come in now? It's nice and warm, just for you baby."

Glancing over at the open door, I go to close it. The cold air pierces my skin, leaving me in goosebumps. As my hands slowly shut the door I hear a noise come from downstairs. Thinking its just an open window, i shake it off. BANG! I jump out of my skin.

"What was that?!" Niall has as much fear in his eyes as me.

"I don't know. I'll go check." I bend down to grab my wrobe and quickly put it on. I hear Niall turn off the water behind me and the shower curtain open. I was debating on whether I should turn around to see Niall's naked body or give him his privacy. As I'm debating on the two options Niall asks me to grab him a towel from under the closet. I turn to the closet, getting out a cream colored towel. I turn to Niall, seeing his large length and tones torso. OH MY GOD! I don't know what to do at this point so I quickly handed the towel to him and turned back to the door.

"What's the matter, love?"

"Nothing," I started to panic,"I'm just scared from the noise."

I feel him come behind me, putting his chest up against my back. "There is nothing to worry about. I will keep you safe." And I believed him. Turning to face him, I look down at  his toned abbs. I run my fingers up and down them, sending chills down my spine. Wow! I guess those boxing classes payed off.

BANG! A loud noise comes from downstairs once again, but even closer. My heart starts to race. Is it an intruder downstairs? A murderer or an animal? Either way I'm still scared out of my wits!

"Stay here,"Niall gently pushes me aside. I look at his eyes, telling him not to leave me alone when there could be someone else in this house. "I will be right back, don't worry." He assures me, making me feel a little relieved but not enough to fully calm my nerves. I watch him slowly walk down the steps, having nothing to shield him or use against the intruder. This causes me to run over to the banister and watch my blonde headed angel disappear as he walks down the steps.

I start to hear whispering between Niall and the intruder. "GET OUT!" Niall suddenly yells, causing me to jump in fear. I never heard his voice so mad and serious. BANG! BANG! I get up and sprint down the stair, almost falling multiple times. I look around for Niall, only seeing broken glass on the floor. Walking around the corner I find my angel, on the floor leaning against the wall. I run over to him. Looking down I see red trickling from his side. Tears start oozing out of my eyes.

"Say goodbye to your boyfriend, bitch!" the voice came from behind me. I look up to find Jason with a gun in his hand. My body freezes and I am unable to move. The rooms starts spinning, causing my eyes to slowly shut.

"Tori........Tori..." I faintly hear Niall call my name.

Before I know it, I am passed out on the floor next to my bleeding boyfriend.
