I turned around and seen Gabby laying on the floor bleeding out. I yelped and ran over to her. I wrapped my wolf form around hers. I whined and licked her ear. She wasn't moving at all. The battle behind me became nothing but a quiet murmer. Everything seemed to be in slow motion. I laid my head on her neck.

I closed my eyes and rubbed my head agenist hers. I heared paw steps behind me. I looked and seen Kali. Her head was lowered in respect. I felt sadness fill me. I whimpered again.

I felt a nudge at my side. I looked up, my vison was a little blury. A tear fell, someone licked the tear away. When I could see I seen Alan. He laid down and put his head on my shoulder. My insides jumped, I turned and shifted. I pressed my now little human body agenist his larger wolf one. He shifted back and sighed holding me. 

This changes nothing. I heard his voice eho in my mind. 

I felt like had been slapped in the face. My stomach clenched turning into a knot. Tears started to form. To think that a lost my daughter now my mate. My freaking soul mate! I pushed him away and shifted. I put Gabby on my back and ran. I took her to where me and Alan met. It was a long run, but that was something I needed. 

I laid her on the ground. I sat over her body. I heard paw steps behind me. I jumped up and fliped around. I lets out a loud growl. I seen Dustain I whined and ran over. I put my head under his. I whined, he licked my ear. I walked over to Gabby I laid my head right by hers. Dustain followed me and laid next to me. He laid next to me. He watched me, then he would look up for danger. 

I shot up and ran a little bit. I started gaging I threw up blood. I whined, it was hurting badly. Dustain ran over and held me up from falling.

You need a mate Jessica. Your going to die with out one. Alan is no help right now.

A tear fell slowly. He was right, I did need a mate, I was dying. What should I do? Should I wait for Alan or let Dustain mark me?
