Your POV-
I was laying in bed and thinking about the last time I had seen Grayson, we have been best friends for a long time, but the other day at the park, he kissed me, and I haven't seen him since. I used to hang with him and Ethan all the time, and now that we were almost 19, I would think it would be easier to see each other now that we all have our own cars. I didn't know I was going to not see him for this long.

But the other day when he kissed me,  he said something rather strange...

FLASH BACK

I was sitting on a swing waiting for Grayson because he asked me to meet him at our favorite park. I looked around for a tall, tan boy. And I spotted him coming through the fence.

I smiled at him and he smiled at me too. He came up to me and hugged me. And I hugged back.
"Hi Y/n!" He said cheerfully.

"Hi gray!" I said as we pulled away.

"So what's up? You asked me to come here on such sort notice, wanna go cause some trouble?" I said with a frisky tone.

"Not today y/n.." he said as his smile faded away.

Mine did too as he looked down at his feet. He sat down on the swing next to me and started to swing slowly, back and fourth.

"So, remember when we were hanging out like a week ago, and we were walking down the street with your dog?" He said looking at me sweetly, as if he was trying to get me to understand something.

"Yeah..." I said trying to follow him.

"Remember how I kept looking around, and I was kind of acting paranoid, but I told you not to worry about it?" He said playing with his fingers, his gaze went back to me as his smile was totally gone now.

"Yeah, you were making me nervous too" I said chuckling at the end, trying to lighten the mood.

"Well, the point is, I'm not safe here. And I can't stay here long and talk because someone might see" he said looking around again.

"What do you mean someone might be watching? Who would be?" I asked looking around too now. Getting more worried. Gray was never this serious.

"Look y/n, I came here to tell you that you can't just show up at my house anymore. You have to tell me when your coming over and you have to drive over, not walk" he said looking me dead in the eyes.

"But I only Live fi-" "it doesn't matter! You have to drive for your own safety, okay?" He cut me off, He was getting more stern.

"O-okay.." I said leaning Away from him now.

"Look, y/n, I have to go away for a while. But, I Couldn't go away without you knowing something." He said looking around one last time.

"What?" I said trying to catch his eye.

"I've liked you ever since I've known you, I care about you a lot and I don't want you to get hurt because of me.." he said looking at me sweetly. He had softness in his eyes.

He looked around again as I was looking at him.

"I like you too gray" I said looking at him in awe.

He looked back at me and smiled. He put an hand on my cheek and looked me in the eyes.

"This is the last time I'm going to be able to do this for a while" he said looking at my lips and then back at my eyes. I felt my face heat up, he started to move closer and I closed my eyes.

His lips touched mine and i melted at the feeling. He felt just as I imagined him to be. His lips pushed deeper into mine, making the kiss more passionate. The wind started to blow, causing the autumn leaves to move around. He pulled away and looked behind him. I just was in shock of what just happened.

"I have to go, go right home after this okay? I have to go think things out" he said before kissing me on the forehead and jogging out of the park entrance.

I just walked home slowly, reapplying what just happened, and what he meant...I was confused, but I was happy.
