Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I thought right now would be a great time to talk about Love. More specifically, four Greek words for Love. I've heard of others, but I just want to talk about these four:
Agape is innocent or unconditional Love. No matter what a person does, no matter how bad it was or how mad it made you, you still love them. I find this type of love probably the most beautiful and it should be something that is worked into every relationship.
Eros is romantic or sexual Love. It is something you would feel towards your lover. It's pure passion.
Philia is Love between friends. It's associated with loyalty and equality. Philia is what you feel with your close friends when you're having a good time.
Storge is the Love between family members. It's something you feel for your parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and so on. It's also sometimes used when describing one's love for their country.
