"Eden?" Aaliyah asked softly as Eden walked into Aaliyah's room, flushed and nervous. Eden walked over to Aaliyah and smiled as she took Aaliyah's hands in hers. Eden was focused on herself and what she was about to do that she became completely oblivious to Aaliyah's bloody knees and puffy eyes.

"Aaliyah, I want you to have this." Eden said as she slipped her hand onto her pocked and pulled something out. Eden extended her palm towards Aaliyah. Sitting on her now open hand was a beautiful crafted gold ring. It was a gold rose with a diamond in the middle of the rose.

"Eden... don't" Aaliyah whispered softly, tears creeping back into her voice.

"You don't want this, you don't want me like that. Not when you have her to run to." Aaliyah followed. Eden had no idea what she meant.

"What do you mean Aaliyah? I only want you. That's all I've ever wanted since I met you. Aaliyah I don't understand..." Eden said as she looked into Aaliyah's eyes. Aaliyah shook her head and tried to speak but Eden interrupted her.

"You know exactly what I mean!" Aaliyah screamed and she shoved Eden away.

"You're in love with Circe! She told me everything so don't try to lie anymore. You used me like a toy. You tricked me into giving you my heart when you knew that you couldn't give me yours!" Aaliyah yelled.

"I'm not in love with Circe, I'm in love with you Aaliyah!" Eden said slightly confused.

"What?" Aaliyah asked.

"Yes, Circe and I had a thing a long time ago, but I broke it off because I didn't really like her that much. She never really found a way to get over it. Yes I should have told you but this is no way to react!" Eden said loudly but gently.

"You love me?" Aaliyah asked in a soft confused voice.

"Yes, I love you Aaliyah, and I want to spent the rest of my life with you." Eden said as she moved up to Aaliyah wrapped her hand around Aaliyah's waist and pulled them together.

"It's always been you, Aaliyah," Eden whispered as their faces moved closer together.

"What I'm really worried about is if you feel the same way." Eden said. Eden closed her eyes and pressed her mouth against Aaliyah's softly; guessing that she would pull away and try to talk Eden out of it. But Eden just couldn't help herself. But for the second time, Aaliyah's didn't pull away. Instead Aaliyah leaned against Eden and put her hands round Eden's neck and most importantly, Aaliyah seemed to be into it. After a few moments Aaliyah pulled away slightly. Just so that their noses were touching and Eden could hear her heavy breathing and smell her faint sweet violet scent.

"Eden. I do love you, I was only mad because I thought that you didn't love me." Aaliyah breathed. Eden smiled then brushed a hair away from Aaliyah's face.

"Aaliyah. How could I not love you?" Eden replied in the same tone. Eden breathed in her scent, the smell of violet flowers invaded his nostrils. Aaliyah snickered then pulled her back in for a quick peck.

"Then prove it." Aaliyah said softly. Eden quickly slipped the ring on Aaliyah's left ring finger.

"I will, every day until you finally except that I'm not going anywhere," Eden whispered. Aaliyah flushed pink and wrapped her arms around Eden, pulling Eden into a tight hug.

"Now, will you be my date to the ball?" Eden asked softly.

"Yes," Aaliyah answered.
