If anyone told me I'd be lying on a green towel on miami beach, wearing nothing but a pink bikini and a pair of cheap, fake ray bans, feeling the warmth of the air touch my skin, I'd say: "I wish"

Now I am enjoying paradise through the lenses of my cheap sun glasses, watching the waves crash onto shore. It's not too hot, but it isn't cold either. It's like the perfect balance between the two. Although there is the occasional breeze that sends chills up my spine... I don't really mind it.

"SKYLAR!" I hear a voice call out to me from behind. I turn around and roll my eyes as Derek and Blake approach where I'm sitting. I hate it when people call my by my actual name.

"If you were rolling your eyes at us, you know we can't see you trhough those sun glasses." Blake points out. I take of my glasses and roll my eyes again

"There, happy?" I say sarcastically. Derek chuckles.

"Extremely." Blake smirks. I may have thought his smirk was adorable that night we first met, but now it's irritating. And I still don't know how I feel about him after he tongue raped me.

Yes. That's right. I, Skylar Davis, am using the term: tongue rape. Crazy right? I guess it rubbed off on me.

"What are you doing?" I ask as they roll out their towels on either side of me placing their beachbags down

"laying our towels out." Blake says and I roll my eyes again. He is so annoying sometimes

"Ugh, you guys are impossible" I exclaim laying back down to enjoy the peace and quiet--

"Hey dude, I forgot my sunscreen did you bring any?" Blake says. I let out a sigh. Well, I was enjoying the peace and quiet until they came along.

"Oh shit!" Derek says "I forgot mine too!"

"Let's ask Skylar." I clench my teeth at the sound of my real name. I am tempted to say: "It's Sky not Skylar you asshole!" and then throw a flip flop at his head, but that would require talking to them and all I wanna do now is lay back and ignore them

"Sky?" I feel Blake poking me. At least he's calling me Sky now. But the poking isn't helping. "Sky? Sky? Sky?" he continues to poke me

"Blake, I think she's dead." Derek says sarcastically. I can't help but let the corners of my lips to curl upwards into a small smile

"Aha!" Blake exclaims "She's smiling! That means she's not dead! Thank God she's not because if she was we'd never know if she has sunscreen or not."

Wow, That's all he cares about

"Sky. Sky. Sky." Blake keeps poking me, harder this time

"WILL YOU FUCKING STOP POKING ME YOU SON OF A BITCH!" I yell finally not handling it any longer. People around us start to stare "Uhhh, I mean, sure you can use my sunscreen." I feel my face burning red

"Hey." A blonde girl who looks like she belongs in a Victoria's Secret Catalogue and her friend with obviously dyed ginger hair walk up. I notice Blake take his glasses off and checks them out. "I was wondering if you two guys wanted to play volleyball with us." Okay, the two girls were pretty but they weren't that pretty. Okay they were that pretty. "Our other  friends are waiting at the court. Wanna join?"

"Yeah sure." Blake jumps at the chance taking his time to be 'smooth' and rake his eyes over their bodies "Sky will you be alright?"

"Oh I'm sorry!" the girl exclams raising her hands to cover her mouth "Are you his girlfriend?" I start to laugh my ass off. I can't stop. Tears start pouring down the sides of my face from laughing. Me and Blake? Maybe I dreamed about it once or twice but after he tongue raped me he is nothing but a friend -- no, nothing but an annoying jerk who's company I sometimes enjoy -- to me. Blake rolls his eyes and looks pissed off at me, giving me a look that reads don't-kill-my-swag

I can't believe I just thought of the word swag

"She's my sister." Blake says. Excuse me? I am not his sister! I feel bad for his sister if he even has one. Is he just calling me his sister because he's embarassed of me?

"So you aren't in a relationship?" she says looking at Blake and then me.

"Well, I'm not in a relationship." I say, a goofy smile spreading across my face "But this one," I slap my hand on Blake's shoulder "And this one" I slap my other hand on Derek's shoulder. I look back at the two girls "Are." Blake and Derek both look at me in disbelief

"OH MY GOD! I LOVE GAY PEOPLE!" the blonde squeals jumping up and down. I smirk at myself feeling proud of ruining their chances with these pretty girls. Ha. Mission Accomplished. "And maybe you want to play too?" the ginger says. shes been quiet until now.

"Sure." I say sweetly "But I'm not all that good at sports." I say smiling innocently but feeling devil horns growing at the top the top of my head. Me bad at a sport? Only in a parallel universe!

"It's fine, we'll take it easy on you" the ginger smiles

"Great we'll meet you there." the blonde says walking away. I stand up only to see two pissed off guys

"The first time we met you said you were good at sports." Derek says with a puzzled face

"Exactly." I smirk devilishly

"Hey that's my thing!" Blake says

"What?" I'm confused

"The smirking. That's my thing."

"Well guess what." I say "Volleyball is my THANG!"

"Did you just say thang?" Derek asks

"I heard thong." Blake says. I give him a look that says Seriosuly? I roll my eyes and walk over to the court, Derek and Blake trailing behind me talking about something I can't really hear. All I can make out from their 'secretive' conversation is: 'she isn't even that hot!' said by Blake. They're probably talking about the two girls. Wait but they are extremely gorgeous probably about me then.

"You can play with Nikki. Ana and I will play against you first on this side." The blonde says pointing to 'Nikki' who happens to be an equally pretty african-american gil with extremely curly hair that seems to work on her. I wish I could get my curly hair to do that... And I guess Ana is the ginger girl since the blonde girl is playing with her. "And it's alright if you aren't that great your first time. We are in our college team." she boasts.

Huh, I'm dealing with college students. Time to show them volleyball is my thang and not theirs

I have got to stop using the word thang...

The blonde girl serves the ball and I fake pretending to miss it and 'trip' and fall into the floor

"I'm sorry." I mumble getting up

"It's fine." the blonde says smirking, obviously feeling happy that I suck. That's about to change...

She serves again and I do the same. I look over at Derek and he gives me a thumbs up. I smile back at him and notice a small tatoo on his right hip. I make a mental note to ask hima bout it later

"Hey, lets make a deal." I say "If you win we buy you ice cream and if we win you buy us two ice creams."

"Sure." the blonde says smiling, almost laughing since  she thinks that I suck. Ana, the ginger girl, gives me a sheepish smile abvoisuly feeling sorry for me. She seems nicer than the blonde one. "But I'm on a diet so insetad of an ice-cream for me it would be a smoothie."

"Sure thing." I say. "You're turn to serve."

She serves the ball once more with a smile on her face assuring me that she hinks shes gonna win another point. But this time, I jump into the air and slam my palm against the ball sending the ball directly hitting her stomach. She falls back, her eyes wide in shock. I hit the ball just hard enough to send her flying down but not enough to cause internal bleeding.

"I thought you sucked at volleyball." she exclaims

"No hun," I smirk just like Blake "You thought wrong"
