For some reason this story is now rated restricted. Wattpad's messed up because the worst thing in this story is the amount of swear words.

"Remind me why we are ice skating again? I groan as I shuffle closer to the ice rink in my uncomfortable skates

"Because I haven't gone figure skating In a long time and my ballet classes start in a week" Gabi explains for the what seems like the hundredth time. "Figure skating is similar to ballet so I need to practice my posture and balance." She says proudly

"Whatever" I roll my eyes getting closer to the ice rink

"No, what are you doing?" She pulls my shoulder back

"going skating! duh"

"We need to wait, dumbass" she laughs "that machine thingy is repairing the ice we need to wait a little longer." She laughs. I roll my eyes again and wait impatiently for the machine-car thingy to leave. I do sports, not winter sports. I am not amazing at skiing or snowboarding, I play field hockey not ice hockey, and figure skating... I can barely ice skate! Apparently Gabi dances so she dragged me out here into this fricking skating rink so she can practice for her ballet. How is she practicing though? Ballet and figure skating are two complete different things! Ones on ice and one isn't!

"Alright now you can step onto the ice." Gabi teases as I roll my eyes at her... again. Wow, I roll my eyes a lot

As soon as my skate touches the ice I slip and fall on my butt. Gabi laughs at me before skating away from me -- in rapid speed if I might add -- and then jumping into the air doing this weird twirly thing before landing perfectly on one foot on the ice. People around her clap as I groan getting up. Gabi skates back to me with such ease that I feel embarassed.

"Alright, take it slow the first time. I'm gonna have to leave you since I actually need to practice." she informs me before gliding on the ice away from me. Great, drag me here and leave me alone. I take it step by step... literally. I'm not ice skating more like ice walking. my knees are bent down too far, my butt is sticking out in the air trying to keep me balanced and my arms are spread out on either side of me as if I'm a little kid pretending to be an airlpane. After a while I start to pick up speed, and my steps turn into strides which then finally tun into ice skating. Apart from the fact that my feet are shaking like crazy of course. I pick up speed again and feel my self racing past all these people... WALL!

I forgot how to turn so I crash into a wall. Yeah. You heard me right

"Hey Sky!" Blake skates past me an halts right before he hits me.

Well at least he knows how to turn and stop unlike me...

"Blake?" I look up "What are you doing here?"

"I've got hockey practice in an hour here, I'm just warming up." he explains. "Ice hockey is my thang." he teases.

"Don't." I groan and he laughs

I push myself of the ice but fall again on my butt that is probably bruised from all the times I've fallen on it today

"Need a hand?" he asks

"No, I'm good." I let my pride get in my way because this time I do stand up but I lose my balance and fall on Blake

"Woah," he laughs "You don't know how to skate do you."

"No. I say quickly getting myself off him, keeping my balance this time.

"Just try gliding on the ice instead of walking on it." he says

"That doesn't help" I pout, I probably look like a fish right now. Blake holds on to my arm and starts to skate slowly with me trailing behind him.

"Im gonna die im gonna die I'm gonna die." I repeat over and over again in hushed whispers.

"No you're not." he gives a half smile "Do you wanna try on your own?" before I even have time to answer he pushes me into the ice... alone.

That little bitch.

I bump into some random guy and we fall down. Both of us.

"I'm so sorry! That annoying jerk over there pushed me!" I stammer pointing an accusing finger at Blake who is laughing his head off. I look over at the guy. He is insanly tall with bright orange hair and with freckles dotted on his face. His thick, black glasses are balanced unevenly on the bridge of his nose and he is incredibly skinny. Like bony skinny.

"It's f-fine." he stammers before getting up quickly and skating away. Well at least he can skate. Am I that unattractive that even nerds try to get away from me as quick as possible? I attempt to skate back to Blake but my legs are really wobbly.

"Okay, no even a pro like me can teach you how to skate." he boasts "You're a lost cause"

"And what makes you think you're a pro?" I snap

"The fact that I'm the second best player in our hockey team." I groan as I remember Blake plays ice hockey. My eyes search the crowd for Gabi and I spot her skating backwards only to do another spin thingy in the air. More applause

"Who's the 1st best player then?" I ask not taking my eyes off of Gabi who I envy so much right now for not being able to actually skate, but also for being able to do awesome spins in the air. Blake purses his lips before speaking

"Derek." he says quietly

"He plays ice hockey?" I say in surprise "Why isn't he here like you?"

"He should be here any minute now." he says avoiding eye contact

"Does he have cool skates like yours?" I ask while pointing at his black skates with a curved blade instead of a straight one like mine

"Yeah." he chuckles

"Can I ask you a question?" I ask, holding on to the wall while skating and Blake skates next to me.

"Uh, I guess." he shrugs

"What happened between you and Derek in Vermont?" I ask. Blake hesitates a little before sighing

"Angie has affected Derek's life in a bad way." he says looking down at his skates "And I screwed everything up by... sleeping with her." he looks uncomfortable

"But you guys were fine in Miami." I state

"Yeah but I may have sort of taken her out again and ended up doing the same thing last night..." he trails off. My heart sinks. He is such a jerk!

"Why the hell would you do that? Angie is a bitch and you know Derek doesn't like her for whatever reason!" I raise my voice

"Look Sky..." he starts but I cut him off

"No. You are just some thirsty guy who only likes pretty girls that can offer you boobs butt and fulfilling your perverted needs. All guys are the same. Only looking for the pretty girls."

"If I only liked pretty girls than why did I kiss you on New Years?" he raises his voice. I look at him, shocked. I know I'm not pretty but hearing it coming from him just kills me.

"Wow." I half laugh

"Sky, I didn't mean it like that..." he places his hand on my arm but I tug away

"Don't touch me!" I say in a disgusted tone "Only my friends call me Sky, it's Skylar to you!" I snap. The bell rings signaling that it's time for everyone to leave the rink so the machine-car thingy can repair the ice. I need to et away from him, so for the first time I actually ice skate -- not ice walk -- to the exit and take off immediatly

Guys say that girls are the complicated ones, well guess what? It's the other way around.
