Yesterday, I moved to Georgia. Yeah we moved into an awesome & huge house, but was it worth leaving my best friends and Josh? I missed them already. I texted Josh constantly, but I didn't really think it would work. He would be there to talk, always. But to be together, it breaks my heart, but it won't work. I want to stay together at least until I make friends so I won't feel so alone.
With my sister, Alaina, we go walking around to a nearby little shopping center. We buy new clothes, jewelry, sunglasses, and candy. You can tell she feels alone too. As soon as we go home, we find our new neighbors in our home. There's a girl named Caroline, whose an only child, and her parents. She seems about my age, 15. I introduce myself, Eliza. "I'll show you around" I say, and she follows me up the stairs. We don't really go anywhere but my room. We talk for a while, and I realize I already have a friend. She's dating a guy named Cameron, who seems perfect for her. I tell her how sad I am about having to leave Josh, and she feels terrible for us. While we talk about this, I get a text from him. 'I hate to say it, it feels horrible. But with you moving and all, I think we should see other people. Unless you think it could work...' it says. "I'm so sorry." Caroline says. Then I text him back, 'No, it's ok. I understand.'
