Woah! What? The words replay in my head. I have no words really, and I just stand there like an idiot. Finally I manage to say "Thanks" before I run into language arts. I felt like I was going to puke. Did he actually call me beautiful? It was probably one of those things that he felt he was obligated to say...
So here's my day:
I don't know anyone in language arts, but I sit next to a girl named Savanna and she's really nice.
Next is science, and I know Mary Grace.
Then there's Math, with Caroline.
Afterwards, Literacy with Samantha.
Then Social Studies, with Chandler Riggs. When I walk into the classroom, I'm surprised that he's there. He smiles and takes me to a seat to where I sit behind him. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
Then I have drama and chorus, where Caroline, Mary Grace, AND Samantha are in both.
After school, I drive home and instantly get in my pajamas. I didn't want to go into town today, I just wanted to stay home, text, and do homework. I get a text from Josh at around 5:00 asking how school was. I reply with 'it was ok' and don't say anything else.
After I finish my homework an hour later, I check twitter and notice that Chandler followed me! .
I get in bed and turn on the TV, to which I then watch 'Days Gone Bye' while swooning over little Chandler, and then I go to sleep.
The next day when I wake up, I put on a Paris~Styled, grey crop top and light pink jeans. Then I straighten my hair and put on makeup. When I walk out the door, I decide just to walk to school.
It seems like a peaceful, quiet morning until rain starts to drizzle. I start walking faster, and the rain starts to get harder. As I try to find an umbrella in my bag, a car pulls up next to me and the window rolls down, revealing Chandler's face. "You wanna ride?" he shouts over the sound of the rain and I nod. I swing open the door and hop inside. "Thanks." I say as I open my mirror to see that my hair is completely messed up. "Oh God!" I say to myself but he hears me. "What?" he asks. "My hair!" I respond as I try to brush it out. "Oh come on, you look gorgeous." he smiles. My face burns bright red. 'No, you are' I say in my head. "Thanks." I smile as he parks in the school parking lot. He hands me his umbrella and tells me to use it. At first I disagree, but eventually I give in to his pleading. I rush towards the school with the umbrella over my head and he sprints through the rain. When we get in the school, he takes the umbrella and I thank him for everything. He tells me it was nothing and goes to his locker and I go to mine. I put my bag into my locker and reach for my language arts notebook when a hand slams my locker shut. I spin around and see a group of girls. One of them gets in my face and yells "Get away from our friend's boyfriend!" I'm confused, and then I realize they must be Rachel's friends. "What were you thinking?" another one spits out. "He just gave me a ride to school!" I say, but they don't believe me. They keep yelling out insults, and I'm pinned to my locker, and then one girl swings her fist at me, but she's pulled away just in time. The girl is trapped in Chandler's hands as she tries to get away without success. Then he looks her in the eyes and yells "Get away from my girlfriend!"
