CHAPTAH ONETY ONE

I pull away quickly. "What the hell!" I yell as I get into my Jeep. "Sorry... you're just so... beautiful." he smiles. "Hahaha, no." I respond as I turn on the gas. He says something to me, but I can't hear him over the sound of the car, and I drive away.
So many things are rushing through my head, and I really don't know what to do anymore. Shawn didn't seem mean or anything, I just felt a special connection between Chandler & I.
When I get home, my sister is already at school and my parents are at work. We live in sort of a small mansion, if that makes sense. [said for imagining purposes] Anyway, I run through the foyer and into the living room, which then I throw my face into the couch. I can't turn down Shawn because after all, I think he really does like me. But I can't say yes to him because... UGH! Chandler has a personality like mine, he would never hurt me, and he's perfect in every way. Chandler & I are like pieces of a puzzle, finally fitting into place. I run up to my room with m book bag and turn on my tv. I watch Drake & Josh for about 2 hours when I remember... JOSH! He always knew the right thing to say. I pull out my phone and type as fast as I can, and I get a response after about 5 minutes.

E: STRESSED.

J: ??????

E: boy problems, HELP!

J: hold on, I'm at school. Text ya later.

E: JOOOOOSH! I'm so confused though! Give me advice! Please!

J: Well, tell me what's happening!

E: so, there's a guy I REALLY like. And his name is Chandler Riggs. And I don't really know if he has a girlfriend anymore... because she found me and him kissing. I like him, he likes me, but I don't know if he wants me to be his girlfriend.

J: What on earth is the problem here?! It seems like it's going really good! Besides his girlfriend and stuff...

J: WAIT. CHANDLER RIGGS?! Like, Carl Grimes?! Oh my FRICK!

E: Yeah, him. Anyway, there's also a cute guy named Shawn... and he really likes me. He even kissed me today 😶

J: oi

E: I don't know what to do! 💔

J: Well, if this Shawn kid really likes you, he would be happy to see you happy with Chandler. And for this girlfriend of Chandler's, she can just scoot her boot over and let you be with Chandler. Cause it seems like he likes you too 👍

E: But how can I let Shawn down?!

J: Do you have feelings for him?

E: 😶

J: ?!?!!!!!??!!?!!?

E: I don't really know...

J: gotta go, bye

E: 👋

I lay on my bed, just staring and the ceiling for a while. Josh is right though. If Shawn really likes me, shouldn't all he want is to see me happy? Then I pull out the note that Chandler gave me, and I put his number in my contacts, and I can't wait until 4:00, when school lets out, so I can text him. I look at my clock and it's 2:45. Ugh. Another hour an fifteen minutes. I decide to watch a random movie. With my eyes closed, I pick out 'The Purge' and watch it. By the time it's over, it is already 5:00 and I finally text Chandler.

E: Hi

C: Is this Eliza?

E: yeah

C: Okay, good. So... why weren't you at school?

E: I puked. A lot.

C: oh. sorry to hear that.

E: lol I'm ok now.

C: good, hey... wanna meet up in town?

E: That would be lovely 💖

C: cool, I'll meet you outside of Barnes & Noble at 5:30

E: sounds like a plan :)

I show up a little before 5:30, but he's already there. His smile greets me and I return with a smile of my own. After walking around the street for a little bit, we sit down on a bench together. "About Rachel... we got into an argument, and shortly after you left, we broke up." he says. I accidentally let out a sigh of relief and he laughs. "But I was wondering..." He said and I got so exited. Was he going to ask me to be his girlfriend? I was so happy, but then he finished his sentence. "Why did you kiss Shawn?"
