Auditions

Chandler took me to a huge building where auditions would be held. Super nervous, I almost puke trying to think about what will happen. Chandler is welcomed into the place like family. Well, he is to them. He says hello to everyone but escorts me to the elevator. It's silent in the elevator, but he breaks the silence. "Are we... friends now?" I'd rather be much more than friends, but I know he probably thinks of me as the poor new girl who needs help. "Yeah, I guess." I respond and the elevator opens. The place is full of about 70 girls who are also auditioning for the role. When Chandler & I step out of the elevator together, he's ambushed. There's about 40 fangirls surrounding him asking things like
"I'll get the part, right?"
"Can you follow me on instagram?!"
"Can we take a picture together?"
"Can you be my boyfriend?"
He points me towards a room before the swarm takes him over. I knock on the door, and walk in. I'm absolutely starstruck when I notice that Andrew Lincoln is one of the judges. He must notice that my jaw drops and he laughs. "I'm Andrew, and are you the girl who walked in with Chandler?" he asks. "Y-yes" I nod. "Wow! I didn't know he had a girlfriend" Andrew says happily. I blush "Oh... I'm not his girlfriend." I look sadly at the ground. "should I begin the scene?" Andrew nods and the other judges focus their eyes on my every move while I'm performing a scene. Whenever I'm acting, I feel like I'm in a different world. A free, worry-less world. After I'm finished, I get a small applaud and I leave the room. Chandler is waiting outside for me. "How'd it go?" he asks suddenly. "Good, I guess..." "Oh come on Eliza! You've got this down! You'll get the part." he assures me and I can't help but smile.

4 days later I get a call. I didn't get the part. But they said I was too good to just let go, so they sort of made up a character for me. The news hits me like a bullet. I was going to be on The Walking Dead! I text Caroline and Josh, and they're both ecstatic. Then, I tell Chandler.

{Chandler's POV}
I already knew that Eliza was going to be in the show. When I found out that she didn't get the part, I was so upset that I demanded that they put her somewhere on the show. I get a text from her, and I pretend to be surprised. She may be my friend... but I want that to change soon. I text her the schedule for filming, and she promises to go every time she's needed. I'm really excited that I get to work with her.
