(3 yeas later) (Your Pov) Silver and I flew high up into the clouds flying as fast as we could. Snoutlout had the black sheep in his grasps and I wasn't going to let him win this game. "Okay steady girl," I whispered to Silver as we quietly glided over Snoutlout. I stood up and aimed my body in the direction on the sheep. "Okay, (Y/N) you can do this." My hair whips in the wind as I jump. The sound of the crowd gasping was evident when they saw my jump. I landed on the back of his dragon and quickly scooped up the sheep. "What the..." "Thanks Snoutlout for the win." I giggled before jumping again this time landing on Silver and tossed the sheep into my basket. The crowd went wild as we all landed back in the arena. "Whoa! That's my future daughter-in-law!" "That's my daughter!" I laugh at Stoick's and my Father's comments. "Good game guys." Fishlegs smiles while the twin argue about who made them lose. "Yeah good game (Y/N)." Fishlegs pats my back before leaving the arena with Snoutlout close behind. "Congratulations on the win." I smile at look at the speaker. "Hiccup, I wish you would play. It's really fun you know." He chuckled and kissed my forehead. "Do you know what today is?" He whispered. "Hmm, is it Hearts Day?" I whispered back. Hiccup nodded as he kissed my forehead again. "I have a surprise waiting for you, but you're just going to have to wait until tonight to see it." "Fine, but that means you have to wait for mine too." I said was we walked out of the arena. ~ooOOoo~ (My Pov) The two walked around Berk hand in hand, smiling with joyful expressions as they walked down the snowy banks near Berk's shore line. Silver and Toothless travels behind them always watching to make sure they never got too intimate with each other. "Tell me why you had to jump in to the lake again!" Hiccup laughed out. (Y/N) giggled along said him when finally answering. "Lumi dropped her lucky bracelet in it by accident. At that point it was just strings clinging to each other for dear life but she loved it. I couldn't just let it sink." "But you got sick after." "Hey it was worth sneezing my brain out for a couple of days. It made her so happy." "I bet it did, (Y/N)." Hiccup pushes some of the hair behind my ear. A simple form of affection and one she knew all to well. The warmth from his hand radiates against her cheek when he gently brushed his thumb against it. "I think it's almost time for me to give you my gift, don't you think?" He whispered while simultaneously leaning forward to press a small kiss against her forehead. (Y/N) nodded in agreement. "Then I guess it's almost time for me to give you my present too, but I have to go home to get it." "Can you meet me back here in an hour or so." (Y/N) leaned forward and pecked his lips then hopped on top of Silver. "Of course. See you then." ~ooOOoo~ (Hiccup's Pov) I ran home with Toothless on my heels. "I hope that (Y/N) like my gift." I thought to myself. I threw open the door and ran straight upstairs to change into better clothing. "Hiccup is that you!" My father called to me. "Yeah Dad. I'm in my room." Foot steps make their way up the stairs and stop right out side my door. The door is slightly ajar, letting my see my father's figure out side of it. "Are you getting ready to go and see (Y/N)?" "Yeah, she just left. I'm going to meet her in an hour." Stoick opened the door all the way and crossed the room. He sat on my bed with Toothless beside him, watching as I struggled to correctly tie my tie around neck. "So how do I look?" I asked him. "Great, but," Dad crossed over and fixed my sloppy bow, "that's better." "Thanks, I hope (Y/N) likes it." "Why wouldn't she." "I don't know. She's just so... so remarkable. Everything she does makes my heart just want to explode. She the most stunning women I have ever met, that-that I have ever been with. I just want her to think I'm the man she could rely on when she needs it most." "I bet she already thinks that," Dad gives me a stern look, "Hiccup, I know how much you both care for each other. No matter what you say or do, (Y/N) will still love you. Hold on to her for as long as you can. I lost your mother because I didn't do anything to get her back. I didn't hold on, what I would give to have her back again. If she were here I would let her go again. I know you would do everything in your power to protect (Y/N). Now go, She's waiting for you." "Yes Dad. Thank you." I quickly brushed my hair back and sprinted out of the room to meet (Y/N). ~ooOOoo~ (My Pov) Hiccup waited near the shoreline of Berk for (Y/N) to return. A light breeze pushed his neatly into his face covering his forest green eyes. "Hiccup?" He turned wondering who it was. Hiccup knew it wasn't (Y/N). She didn't sound anything like her. "Astrid. What are you doing here?" "Looking for you," Hiccup gave her questionable look, "I wanted to talk to you. It's Hearts day and I wanted to know..." "Astrid you know I'm with (Y/N). Nothing you say or do will change that." Astrid grimaced at his words. "What does she have that I don't. I've known you for much longer that she has and yet she's the one you go too." "You may have known me for longer but for half of the years you were harassing me. Astrid why can't you see that I'm happy with (Y/N). If you really cared for me you would be satisfied with my happiness ." Astrid shook her head and walked close to Hiccup. "But Hiccup..." "No, Astrid please. You're my friend. Don't make me do this." The blonde women placed her hand on Hiccup's arm but he moves away from her. "Hiccup just think about what you're doing." "I am. I'm being faithful to the women I love. Astrid I think you should leave..." Hiccup was cut off when Astrid leaned forward and pressed her lips to his. Immediately Hiccup pulled away from her. He opened his mouth to protest but before he could make a sound he saw (Y/N) standing behind Astrid staring speechlessly at them. "(Y/N). I.." "I see happening here." She says. "No, it's not what it looks like." Hiccup took a few steps towards her, trying to get the words he wants to say out of his mouth. "It's exactly what it looks like," (Y/N)'a (E/C) eyes stare like cutting knives at Astrid, "Are you really that desperate that have to try to take other people's significant others." "What." Astrid was dumbfounded. (Y/N) walked around her slowly as of waiting for Astrid to make any sign of fear. "Astrid I saw everything. I heard everything. I understand that you still like Hiccup but he's with me now. Like he said, it should make you happy that he is happy." (Y/N) gave Astrid a glum look while she spoke. "But why did he choose you of all people. When you met our villages were supposed to hate each other, yet you two still found each other. Is it because you're nicer than me? I can be nicer, or is it because..." "It has nothing to do with who you are, Astrid. You just need to find someone who has a connection with you. So it goes both ways instead of one. You can't force someone to like you if they don't feel the same." Astrid looks away from (Y/N) for a moment and glances at Hiccup. With a small nod she turns on her heels and walks away from the scene. "(Y/N) I..." "Hiccup you don't need to explain. Now why don't we go." (Y/N) gave him a sweet smile that made his heart throb. She reached her hand out to him. "Okay, let's go." ~ooOOoo~ The night sky swelled with bright glittering diamonds as Hiccup and (Y/N) flew through the sky together. (Y/N)'s blue/(H/C) hair gently waved as they flew. When they landed, Hiccup helped her down. "You look beautiful tonight (Y/N)." Hiccup said. (Y/N) giggles and fingered her pale pink dress. "Not so bad yourself, handsome." Hiccup nervously scratches the back of his neck. "I guess I should show you your gift. N-now close your eyes and don't open them until I say when." (Y/N) rolls her eyes playfully before doing as he says. "Okay, they're closed." Hiccup placed his ams on her shoulders and guided (Y/N) across the island. "I remember when I first arrived here. You had this tiny little bit set up. It was broken and starting to fall apart." "Well, thanks. We all can't be master craftsmen now can we." Hiccup chuckled at her sarcasm. "I thought to myself, what could I do to make that little hut safer for you. When I finally found my answer I... we'll take a look." (Y/N) opens her eyes to see a small house in the place of hut. The dark windows twinkled much like (Y/N)'s eyes when she smiles at it. "It has a bed room, a kitchen, a washroom, and a small living room. I thought if we...um...if you come here and don't feel like going home you could stay here and..." Hiccup'a voice slowly fades away when (Y/N) looks up at him. Tenderly (Y/N) reached for his cheek with a heartfelt smile. "Hiccup, just breath." Hiccup took a deep breath in and slowly let his words come out of his mouth. "(Y/N), you know I love you and these last 3 years have been the greatest in my life. I'm asking you if you would like to move in with me. I know how much you love your family so I won't ask you to leave them. This place can be your home away from home. Our home." Hiccup waited for her response. (Y/N) couldn't even speak. She nodded her head vigorously, think hold of Hiccup's hands in the process. "Hiccup of course I will. And here's my present to you. I remember how upset you were 2 weeks ago when your mother's cup broke so I made this one," (Y/N) held out the box and delicately placed it in his hands, "I know it will never replace her's but I thought you should have something that reminds you of her no matter what it is." "Thank you so much." The two lovers leaned forward for a long desired kiss. Hiccup placed a light touch on (Y/N) waist while (Y/N) buried a hand into his hair. It seemed like forever when they held each other close, yet too soon when they pulled away. Hiccup pulled (Y/N) to a near by tree and pulled out a small letter opener. "Here, so anyone who comes to this island after us knows that I was here with the love of my life." He processed to carve their initials into the tree with a heart around it. Hiccup turned back to (Y/N) to find her staring up at the sky with the small smile she's had on since they had arrived. "Look Hiccup," She said, "It looks that the two lovers in the sky are dancing with each other." (Y/N) pointed to the two constellations through the barren trees. "Well may I have this dance, m'lady?" Hiccup bowed his head and held his hand out for the young women in front of him. "Why of course sir." (Y/N) gave Hiccup a small curtsy before placing her hand in his. The two danced underneath the stars. The moon light hit them, illuminating their dance with soft silver glow. The trees swayed in the wind as if dancing along with them as they gracefully moved around the island. With every move they made it seemed the constellations in the sky made the same. Every spin, every dip, every kiss was in perfect sync. Hiccup dipped (Y/N) and stared at her for a moment. Her face light up in the light of the moon, and the stars twinkled in their blue/(E/C) orbs. Her hair slipped gently through his fingers while the smooth feeling of dress imprinted on his hand. Hiccup stared at her parted lips almost as if asking to touch them with his. (Y/N) stared up at the man holding her. The moon light shined around his hair, accentuating his dark brown locks and green eyes. The necklace she gave Hiccup sparkled each time it hit the moon light. The feeling of the ruff stubble of his face left a tingling feeling against her cheek. (Y/N) leaned forward making the gap between them that much smaller. The two closed their eyes and gently pressed their lips together ending the anticipation and starting the long awaited passion they yearned for. To them it felt like nothing could ruin this moment or destroyed the bond they had together. "I love you," was stolen by the wind as the crystal snow kissed their hair. "I need you," was whispered by they strength of their hold on each other. Fire and Ice mix beautifully together underneath the stars of the midnight sky. "I promise I'll never leave you, my love."
