(One shot is entirely Hiccup's Pov.)
(Most will take place in different time periods)
(Modern AU)I don't know you, but I want too
All the more for thatThe first time I saw you, it was raining. You stood in the middle of the the court yard with your hand raised up to the sky. Strands of (H/C) hair stick to your face as you spun around with the brightest smile. From that moment I knew I wanted you in my life.
Word fall through me and always fool me
And I can't react.
When I first met you, my heart was pounding so hard I could nearly hear myself think. I tried to introduce myself but I only made myself sound like a bumbling idiot. You smiled softly at me and shook my hand.
"Hi, I'm (Y/N). Nice to meet you Hiccup."And games never amount
To more than they're meant
Will play themselves outWhen we first hung out, We went to a fair with some of of my friends. You giggled at my jokes and played every game we could. I remember you wanted a stuffed bear from the ring toss but you didn't win it. You were pretty bummed out but soon cheered up when you saw me walking towards you with. Huge stuffed bear in one hand.
"Oh Hiccup did you win this for me? Thank you so much!" It was then I realized I was slowly falling for you.Take this sinking bleat and point it home
We still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice
You've made it nowThe first time we spent time together alone was for a final project we had to do our English class. You were quiet and sweet, much different from how you act in school, outgoing and mischievous. While we sat there working I could feel this connection with you I never felt with anyone else. I wanted it to stay there forever.
Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can't go backI asked you out for the first time the day before graduation. We sat outside my house watching the sun set. Toothless didn't feel like being the crazy energetic dog he was that day and was stretched out across your legs, wagging his tail lazily as you rubbed his head in small circles. I remember looking over at you and seeing the colors of the world reflect in your eyes. My heart pounded like it did the day I first saw you as I took your hands in mine. I leaned forward and whispered the question I have been dying to ask you for so long in your ear.
"I was wondering when you would ask," you giggled, "Hiccup Haddock the Third, I would love to go out with you.The mood that take me and erase me
And I'm painted blackI think our first date was one of the happiest days of my life. I took you back to the fair we went to a couple of months back. You laced your fingers in mine and insisted we went on every ride before we left. We sat in the Ferris wheel laughing as we told stories of our funniest moment in high school. I remember siting thinking,
"I'm so glad I meet you, (Y/N)." I was falling hopelessly in love with you.Well, you have suffered enough
And warred with yourself
It's time that you wonThe end of summer was approaching fast than I wanted it too. I knew when the summer ended you would be leaving for college while I stayed here. I remember standing with you in the air port, waiting for the moment your plane arrived and you had to leave. I held your hand the entire time we waited, never wanting to let go. We heard on the intercom that your plane had arrived. I walked you over to the door and looked you straight in the eyes.
"Hey, don't loom so sad. I'm coming back," You placed a hand on my cheek, "You'll wait for me right?"
"Always," (Y/N) smiles softly at me for a moment before leaning forward and placing a soft kiss on my lips. It was sweet and and gentle, I never wanted it to end. You pulled away and gave my hand one last squeeze before passing though the door to your plane. A smiled to myself after that. That was our first kiss and hoped it wouldn't be the last.Oh
Take this sinking boat and point it home
We still got timeI remember one summer you came back to visit me. Things weren't going well for us that summer. Even though we were close, I felt like we were being pulled apart. One night, we had our first major fight. I remember the yelling, the hurt words, and your tear filled face. You ran out of the house and I came after you wanting to stop you from running into the streets. I caught up to you at the edge of the drive way. Seeing your tears broke my heart. I slowly lifted my hands and wiped them away.
"I'm so sorry (Y/N)." I whispered to her. Our breathing calmed and she slowly brought her hand up to my face and wiped away the tears I had not known fallen.
"I know. Just give me a few days to think. It's nothing bad I just... i just think we need some time apart to calm down." (Y/N) leaned forward and placed a small kiss on my cheek. I vowed then to never make you feel the way you did then ever again.Raise your hopeful voice, you have a choice
You've mad it now
I stood in the airport again waiting to see your face. It felt like forever since the last time a saw you, even though it was only about a month since the last time you where here with me.
"Hiccup," I heard someone yell. I turned and say a (H/C) woman running towards me. Her (E/C) eyes sparkled with happiness as she ran into my arms and planted her lips against mine.
"I'm home, Hiccup," (Y/N) whispered, "I'm home."[instrumental]
We laid in bed in each other's arms. (H/C) fanned our across (Y/N)'s face as she slept. I pinch a strand of her hair and play with it before tucking it behind her ear.
"I love you, (Y/N)." I whispered to her.
"I love you too, Hiccup." I heard her whisper back.Take this sinking boat and point it home
We still got time
Raise your hopeful voice, you have a choice
You've made it now.I remember the day I the day I asked you to marry me. I had taken you back to that fair we loved so long ago. We were in the Ferris wheel when I asked you. Your eyes lit up and a choirs of yes's filled the air. Tears were streaming down your face as I put the ring on your finger. Your arms wrapped around me and didn't let go the rest of the night.
Falling slowly
Sing your melody
I'll sing it loud"I remember so many moments in our lives that I wouldn't trade for the world. But the best moment I will remember is seeing you (Y/N) (L/N) stand here in front. I promise to always love you and never hurt you. I promise to always be there for you. I promise my heart will always be yours and I'm still falling for you harder each passing day." I finish my vows to the beautiful woman in front me. Her long white gown glittered and illuminated her face in the morning light.
I slowly slide the wedding ring around her finger and watched as she did the same. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach as I waited for the minister to say the words I have been waiting so long to hear.
"I now pronounce you Mr and Mrs.Haddock," The minister started, "You may kiss the bride."This is very last I k is but I wanted to get it out there for you to read no matter what! I hoped you liked this little one shot I made. I hope you had an amazing Valentine's Day!
