How I Got Alex Gaskarth

Chapter 6

I'm sitting back stage watching the guys play, having a blast. I keep noticing Alex glancing my way, making me smile that much more.

"Well this is our last song guys. You've been great!!" Alex says as the strum the beginning chords of Dear Maria.

I'm sad that its over but glad cause I get to see the guys now. I sing along and head towards the back so the guys can shower and get cleaned up. I hear the crowds final roar as the guys come off stage.

"Awesome show!" and "great job" are pass around between the guys. I can hear them enter their dressing rooms so I settle into the couch in the main room.

I hear the door open and I'm surprised to see a sweaty Alex standing In the door way.

"Shouldn't you go shower?" I question

He doesn't answer. He just walks straight up to me and leans down. He look at me for approval and closes the gap between our lips. It's the sweetest and most electrifying kiss I've ever had. But just as quickly as it started, it was over.

"Sorry I had to before I lost my nerve." He says with a huge smile on his face.
" Ill be back in a few" and with that he left.

Wow. That was intense. That was amazing. I am jumping off the walls in my head. Then I stop in my tracks. Lisa. Damn I knew it was too good to be true.

We get off stage and I check my phone. There's a few messages and an email. I open them and they are pictures from Lisa. With another man. I knew she was done with us, I was too, but I at least thought we'd do it in person. Not texting me she's found some one new.

Oddly it didn't bother me though, it finally gave me the opportunity to do what I wanted to earlier.

I was to the main room where I had just seen Stephanie walk into. I had to do it now or I wouldn't. I walked in, she looked up startled.

"Shouldn't you go shower?" she says

Now or never.

I stride over to her and lean in. I search her eyes for permission. I can't wait any longer, I lean in and kiss her. I feel the sparks fly. It's the most amazing kiss I've ever experienced. I pull away, regretfully.

"Sorry had to do it before I lost my nerve, ill be back in a few." I state and I rush out. I want to take the fastest shower imaginable so I can tell her what happened. I want to tell her that Lisa isn't in the picture and that I want to get to know her better. I'm the happiest man alive right now.
