Chapter 7

-Alex P.O.V.-

I get dressed as fast as I possibly could and headed back to the main room. When I open the door my heart sank. She wasn't there. Why did she leave? 'you didn't tell her about Lisa dumbass' I scold myself. Of course!!! damn it!!!

'Stephanie. Please come back. I need to explain.' I text her. Hopefully she understands. *ding*

'I dot want to talk to you. How could you do that to Lisa?!'

Damn. I have to explain.

'Please let me explain. Come back. I can explain everything.'

*ding*

'You come to me if you want to explain so bad. I'm not bending over backwards for a cheating musician.'

Ouch that hit hard. But I'll explain it all

'Where? tell me where and ill be there'

She sends me the make model and color of her car in the lot.

I put on a few extra layers to hide and go. Hopefully I don't get spotted. I walk out and eventually spot the car. I jog up to the passenger side and knock on the window. I see her wipe a tear off and hit the unlock button. I wish I could of wiped that tear away. I want to protect her, not hurt her.

"You have three minutes. Go" she states as she looks out of the windshield.

"Ok, look. I got off stage tonight and got messages from Lisa. She sent me pictures of her with her Ex-well based on those pictures not her Ex anymore. So I told her it was the last straw. I was done. I wanted to wait til we got home but she had other plans. I wouldn't cheat. I wanted to kiss you on the bus today and if Jack hadnt interrupted I probably would of, and felt terrible about it. But she gave me the reasons to leave and to be guilt free when I kiss you." I explain.

The expression on her face changed from stone to a softer understanding, but still unconvinced.

"Prove it." She states

I show her the messages, more afraid of losing her than making Lisa mad.

She looks discussed but then looks at me finally.

"Okay." is all she says but the weight off my shoulders is huge.

I smile.

"May I?" I ask as I place my hand on her face.

She nods and I wipe the single tear away and lean into her lips again. It's even better than before. The electricity flowing through this kiss is enough to light up this city.

It lasts less than I want it to but I know not to push it.

"Please come back in." I plead, our foreheads resting against one another.

"Okay." she smiles and my whole world loses gravity. I'm floating on air as we walk back to the back rooms. By now the guys are packing.

Before we make it to the door, I turn to her.

"Come with us. There's plenty of room on the bus. Come with me. Please. "

Sorrow fills her eyes.

"I can't. I have to get back to Fort Worth. I have work."

Those words crush my heart into pieces.

"Well ill just have to fly down here when to tours over." I decide

She smiles and nods.

"Good" I say and head to the door once again, grabbing her hand.

That's what I'll do.
