I text amy back

'why should I forget the past? '

*ding*

'because I want to be friends again. why dont you and Alex cone over to my place for dinner tomorow night. well double date with me and steve' she replies

I dont know if I can trust her but if shes willing to try I guess I am too.

'ok tomorrow 730 '

I shut my phone.

"were going to dinner tomorrow at a friends, ok?" I tell Alex

"whatever you want baby" is his reply

we drive the rest of the way home in a comfortable silence.

we pull into my drive way and park. I jump oit and open the front door as he locks the car.

I jump in the shower and change out of my sweaty clothes.

I am towelin off my hair as I head to the living room to see alex lounging on the couch, snoring slightly. I laugh and go grab a blanket to cover him up. I pull it over him, he wakes up slightly and pulls me onto his chest.

"were you really about to let me sleep on the couch? " he asks

" umm yea?" I question

"I had to sleep away from yoi for months. im not slending a moment away from you. lets go to bed" he says as he kisses my forehead and picks me up bridal style and carries me to the bedroom.

we lay down and he wrapes his arms around me. not long after the same faint snore is in my ear. I drift off into a dreamless sleep.

the next morning I wake before Alex. hes still snoring next to me. I slip out if bed and head to the kitchen. I decide im going to make him a nice homemake breakfast. I grab the eggs and biscuits and bacon out of the fridge. I toss the biscuits in the oven and start frying the bacon up.

as I finish the eggs a fee minutes later, there's a russle in the directoon of the room and soon a disheveled Alex comes poking out from the hall way.

"something smells good" he comments as he scratches his head.

we sit dowb and he inhales his plate.

"im going to take a shower babe"

he tells me as ge gives me a small peck on the lips.

I sigh and head to the room, im really not looking forward to tonight.

I lay on the bed just as his phone chimes. I think nothing of it. it goes again. 'hmm maybe its the guys' I say and open the text message bubble.

'had a great te last week. hope tp see you soon.' oh my god. he was with Lisa?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
