chapter 25

STEPHANIE POV

I sit up in the front row and watch my boys play their hearts out.

"Austin how the fuck are ya?!" Alex yells into his mic

a roar of cheer erupts.

"well incase you just stumbled in here we are All Time Low. And if you stumbled in here that means we arent getting paid so fuck you. anyways this next song is a little something we call Coffeeshop Soundtrack"

he steps away and the melody bursts through the speakers. I jump and sing along, every now and then locking eyes with Alex and getting embarassed. hed give me a small smile or chuckle and get right back into it.

a few songs later they pause for wardrobe change and Alexs acoustic set.

"were going to sloe it down a little bit but before I do, I want to ask my lovely girlfriend to join me on the stage. stephanie please come up here" he says as he points to the stairs.

I slowly walk up and as soon as my head is visible the cheers erupt again, though im sure this time in hopes I fall. I sit on the bar stool next to Alex and he grabs my hand.

"this lovely woman and I have been dating for a year today, can you believe it?" dang has it really been a year already? It doesnt feel like it.

"and in honor of this momentous occosian I am going to sing a song" he says and strums the strings. then he straightens himself oit and starts to play If These Sheets Were The States acoustically. it was beautiful. I smiled and cried out of pure joy.

after he was finished I grabed him and hugged him tight. everyone awe'd

"I love you so much" he whispered into my ear

"I love you too" I replied

I wipe a tear and start to walk off stage.

"hold on where are you going I have something for you" Alex laughs

I walk back and sit down again. Alex reaches Into his pocket and pulls out a small box.

"here you go, open it" he hands it to me

I open it and a beautiful silver  claddagh ring shines in the stage lights. I smile and hug him again

he takes it out and places it on my right hand with the point of the heart point toward me, sumbolozing we are in a relationship. 

"I love it" I tell him

"im glad. I love you" he say

"I love you too"

the crowd cheers, jeering back into reality. I smile amd wave at them all.

I walk off stage and let them finish the show . I wait back stage for them. as they walk out I grab Alex as soon as I see him.

"haha so I guess you really like it" he laughs as he swings me in the air

"I love it and I love you." I say

I reach into my bag and pull out a little wrapped present.

"mine isnt as extravagant as yours but I think youll like it" I tell him as I had It to him

he rips it open like a child on Christmas. inside this little box, there is a slip of paper. on this paper he reads "I may motnhave the money to buy you things but at least I have my time and my time will be apent with you for your tour"

he reads and slowly a smile spreads like wild fire over his face.

"really?! are you really getting to stay?!"

I nod.

"this is the best gift ever!!"
