~Julia's pov~(Julia is bout 19)

This is my first trip outside the US I'm soooexcited my college said that they would pay for a trip to whatever country anyperson in the same photography class as me. I chose Slovakia because I waslooking for a very natural place and what I saw was perfect. So, I told myteacher who told the people paying for the trips and they happily let me go.Saying nature is one of the most beautiful things the world has given us and itshould be shared. A couple of days later one of the Sponsors said they had afriend who lived in one of the most natural and in touched places there andthey would let me stay with them. So, when I heard this I jumped at the chance. We were allowed to stay anywhere between 1 to 3 months and every week we wouldbe given a different type of picture to take. It could be a picture of a personor a black and white photo or an abstract photo our teacher may even have usedit a photo. And we would be graded on each photo and our overall collectionof photos after the project was done. I was so excited that I asked if I couldget the soonest flight possible and they said yes. I'm not sure if it wasbecause they liked me or that I'm the best student but they got me a flight fornext week to the closest airport to their friend. They even got a ride set upfor me. Once I heard this I ran home to my dorm as fast as I could and startedto pack. I did talk to the sponsor who's friend I will be staying with to askwhat the weather will be like their so I could pack appropriately once I knewwhat it was like I packed as fast as I could I had a special separate bag formy cameras and lenses. Along with one for my entertainment for my flight and ablanket. I was so excited that I couldn't wait for next week. During the timebefore the flight the sponsor I had been talking with whose name I learned wasJordan became a dear friend of mine. We talked and talked about Slovakia andwhat it was like and what his friend and their family was like. I had even learnedthat it Jordan was born there. So, it was finally the day of my flight andJordan texted me good luck with my project and told me to have a safe flight. Ihad been so excited the night before that I barely got any sleep at all but Iwas perfectly fine so I pulled out one of my cameras and took photos of theairport and outside the area I had to wait for my plane in. Once my planepulled in I tucked my camera away after taking a few pictures of the plane andput my camera bag in my carry on bag. Then waited for my number to show up onthe screen so I could get on the plane. I just so happen to get a seat by thewindow away from the wing which was perfect for taking pictures during theflight. I got settled in my seat for the flight and pulled out my book. Thetitle was Twilight Birds by: Bob Jones. I brought 3 books with me and somemusic to listen to. I read until the plane took off. When the plane took off Iwatched outside the window until the seat belt light turned off.
