Hidden Hybrid

Chapter 4

It's finally Friday and Ally's coming over at 2 which is an hour before Aunt Joy leaves to get her nails done. So I change into some jeans and a T-shirt then went down to eat some lunch. I just had some leftover pizza it was a barbecue chicken pizza I had the last 2 slices. I had about an hour before Ally came over so I turned on Netflix and turned on (insert show).

*56 minutes later*

Ding dong knock knock knock

"I'm coming" I yelled as I walked towards the front door. When I got to the door I unlocked it and looked outside. I knew it was Ally cause I saw her car so I just looked around and yelled out "Ally I'm closing the door if your coming in come out now."

After I said that I counted down from 5 and was slowly closing the door and right when I reached 2 in my head she came out.

"Ok ok you got me now let me in please." She said when she came out of hiding.

"Alright" I said as I let her in

"Aunt joy Ally's here" I yelled up to her so she would know

"K" she yelled back

"Let's go to my room." I said

"Okay, let's go" Ally said before we started walking to my room.

Once we were inside I whispered "She leaves in about an hour when she does I will say more."

"Got it" Ally whispers back before saying "Netflix?" In a normal tone as if we aren't hiding anything.

"Sure" I replied and thought for a bit while pulling up Netflix.

The first thing to pop up was Kung fu panda 3. When we saw it we just turned and looked at each other and started to smile. We both understood the look we gave each other. The look meant I want to watch it do you? So I turned on the movie and we watched the whole movie during which Aunt Joy left the house. Since Joy was gone Ally and I went to Ally's car to get everything for the ultimate out. Then we hid it in my room and went out to buy some more hair dye for our project that is not the ultimate. We also bought some wigs and wig stands. We went back to my house and took all the stuff to my room then got out all the dye we got when we were shopping for the ultimate. Then put it in the same bag as the rest of the dye and set everything that Aunt joy is allowed to see (everything that's not for the ultimate). Then we went back to watching Netflix. Joy came back around 4:30pm so now all that's left is to wait for night time and for Joy to go to sleep. So we spent that time watching Netflix and Hulu till night we also had some spaghetti and cake for dinner and dessert. Around 10ish we took a nap for an hour so that Joy didn't suspect anything. Finally the alarm went off and woke me up it was time.

"Ally wake up" I whispered while shaking her so she would wake up.

"What?" She replied sleepily

"It's time for the ultimate" I said excited thankfully me saying that woke her right up.

"Where do we start?" She said with a mischievous glint in her eye.

With that we got to work first we grabbed the air horns and the duct tape. They got put behind doors and under chairs. The silly string was put and rigged to go off in the morning when she leaves her room. They will go off and she will get sprayed. The temporary hair dye is for us though I get to dye part of Ally's hair. The rest of the dye is permanent and is for the wigs. When we finished setting up it was 1 am cause we had to be quiet so we went back to sleep.

Thought about stopping but I saw how short it was and was like nawww I won't be mean I'll right more. So here we go.

*time skip to morning like 8ish*

What woke both me and Ally up was a scream and an air horn going off. That meant Joy was awake. We both quickly got up and ran to where we heard it.

"Are you ok?" We asked Joy

"Do you think this is funny?" Joy replied still shocked from the air horn.

"What do you mean?" I pretend inquired

"You know what I'm talking about" she replied sounding upset

"I really don't know what you mean I didn't have anything to do with this."

"That's what you say but I know it was you" she said not really sounding upset anymore

"I know Ally couldn't have planned all this on her own or made any of this happen without you knowing and Ally wouldn't have any probable clause to do this. So that only leaves you Rose." Joy said before I could get a word in

"Ok you got me I am the master mind so if you know me so well the you will be able to find all the other hidden booby traps muahahahahaha" was all I got out before I actually started laughing in the middle of my muahahahaha which lead to both Joy and Ally started to laugh.

"Challenge accepted" said Joy before going off on what I'm going to call her expedition of traps

The rest of the day was like music to my ears. By that I mean it was like a symphony of air horns. What took place was the wake up attack. Then another horn went off before breakfast then we went upstairs and pulled out everything for dyeing the wigs out of the bags during which another horn went off. So Ally just put in one earbud to listen to music while we dyed the wigs however we wanted. Cause we were going to wear the wig we dyed today on the day of the flight just for fun. In the end we went out and bought more wigs to dye. Before long it was almost dinner time so Ally and I had thankfully just finished the last of the dyeing and had pulled out the things that needed to thaw so we could make dinner at breakfast. So Ally grabbed all the ingredients to make my grandmas quiche recipe while I preheated the oven. Which started the process of making dinner while Ally made the bacon I dealt with the spinach. After about 2.5 hours of cooking 5 quiches we were finally done. I made a quiche for each of us one for today and tomorrow's dinner and one to be frozen for Joy to heat up and eat while I'm gone. I might make one tomorrow or on Monday for Ally's parents.

Joy came down for dinner and hugged us while crying what I'm going to guess are tears of joy. (lol)

"You put me through all that pain and made quiche." She said which made me think she was upset

"Yea" I said scared

"No matter how much pain if I get quiche in the end I will be happy." Which answered my unspoken question on if she was upset.

"Well it's cool enough so grab a plate and I'll get you a piece." I said as I cut one of the quiches into 6 pieces. Both Joy and Ally quickly ran and got plates so I could serve them. Once they each had their price and sat down I got mine and wrapped up all the quiches. Then grabbed my plate with my quiche a fork and my juice and sat down to eat dinner. Once we all finished eating dinner I pulled out dessert half of which was baking while we ate. Dessert was apple pie and vanilla ice cream with caramel drizzled on top. It was a surprise for both Ally who was cooking with me and Joy. I had slipped it into the oven when Ally had stepped out of the room for a bit. We ate dessert washed out dishes then all went and got changed into our pj's once each of us finished changing we gathered in the living room to watch a movie. Which soon after it started we all fell asleep through the rest of it.
