LetterThird Person Point Of View
Dawn didn't feel good the past couple days, she knew her depression was eating inside her, destroying every living cell inside her. But instead of just giving up in life she was willing herself to carry on living, especially since she will be going back home soon.
And no, she doesn't mean her adoptive mother's house, she would avoid it as much as she could right now. She means; Hogwarts.
It was coming closer and closer to September 1st and she and Cat needed to go to the Leaky Cauldron to get their school supplies. They just needed to wait for the letters they needed to go to Hogwarts, and that was a long agonizing wait.
Dawn sat in the kitchen on the dining room table, mixing her tea with a toothpick Mrs. Fenderson told her to use. The old women had told Dawn and Cat they could stay with her as they wait to get to school, Cat not being sure her family would be happy if she was away for the rest of her summer, but with a letter sent and having a reply a few weeks later they seemed to not care.
Dawn wasn't that lucky thought to staying with Mrs. Fenderson for the rest of the summer. Dawn's mother had knocked on the door multiple times, causing Dawn to have panic attacks, asking where her daughter was or if Mrs. Fenderson knew where her daughter was, somehow knowing the young girl hanging with the old women quite frequently. But Mrs. Fenderson and her family had told lies saying they haven't seen her and to have good luck on finding her.
Dawn was greatful for their help and hopes someday in the future she will be able to repay for their hospitality, making them a cake or watching the many little ones in their household, shouldn't be that hard to watch that many little ones. Dawn liked children.
The family had left the house after they have celebrated the new additions to the family, saying goodbyes and giving hugs, Allurah exchanging numbers to Cat and Dawn saying she hopes they keep in touch, a warm fuzzy feeling in Dawn to having a muggle friend she could trust, well, somewhat. It takes a lot for Dawn to trust someone fully so she only gives people a little bit of trust and if they betray her it'll take a lot to get that trust back from the young girl.
Dawn puffed out a sigh as she watched the steam from the tea float into nothing and she ran a hand through her black hair, the house being completely quiet for the most part today. She closed her eyes as she relaxed, listening to the quietness the house had, nobody but her in the house. Mrs. Fenderson and Cat went shopping, having asked her but not feeling up to going out to public today. It was nice being by herself and being in her own thoughts, trying not to let the depression eat up her thoughts so she wouldn't have another panic attack like a few weeks ago.
The raven haired female puffed out another sigh, her cheeks puffing up a little, she opened her eyes and took a drink of her tea and looked out the window, searching the skies for a owl carrying two letters. Hoping for her Hogwarts letter.
When she sat there, with a empty cup of tea, and nothing showed she thought of doing some things she needed to do. She cleaned off her cup and some dishes that was left nobody had touched, humming a small tune to herself as she sang the lyric's in her head.
She touched up the living room to make it look tidy and livable, though it already looked like that, with Mrs. Fenderson not being able to handle being in a way too dirty room you couldn't even move. But there was some garbage on the floor Dawn must've missed, but she got it done at least.
She went upstairs next to take a much needed shower, to relax and feel comfortable in her body. She found a royal blue towel hanging up and went into the bedroom that was for Allurah, Mrs. Fenderson is letting Dawn and Cat use as they stay with her, and she pulled out a sweater and some jeans to wear, and some fresh bra and panties. Mrs. Fenderson had taken Dawn shopping for warm and comfortable clothes and undies, since she asked if she had any that fit and hearing a no she made her get it. Dawn didn't know there were so many different kinds of bra and panties.
