***THREE YEARS LATER***

"Guys! Where did all my food go? I just went shopping two days ago!" I yelled in the direction of my living room, where my four best friends are at. Looking over I see all finger point towards Niall, who was too entranced in whatever was on TV to even notice.

I roll my eyes and look through my fridge and cupboards again, hoping that something might magically appear, but found very minimal. "Guess I'll just have to go out again later and restock" I say as I walk back into the living room, sitting down on one of the couches.

"Why not go now so that we aren't starving all night?" Zayn asks dramatically. I laugh and shake my head, "you know, technically, Harry and I are the only two that live here. So, if you went home once in a while, you probably wouldn't complain that I'm starving you all the time."

Zayn gasps dramatically, and puts his hand over his heart "Are you saying, you're just going to let me starve to death here?" I look over at him and smile "Love you long time." I say and we both start laughing.

"Jokes aside, one of us really should go. We do still need food for us to survive off after these guys leave" Harry states. I nod agreeing with him. "Want me to go now then?" I ask and he nods.

I get back up off the couch and head to my room, grabbing a hoodie and my wallet. As I head to the door I hear Niall yell, "get some cookies, will ya?" I laugh and yell back "Get your own."

I put on a pair of white converse, and double check I have my wallet and phone on me. "don't burn the place down while I'm gone" I say as I head out the door, hearing one of them say "no promises" in response.

I decided to walk down to the store, since there's one not too far from my place.

When I got there I only grabbed a couple things, that we would most likely use within the next day or two, since I didn't want be carrying a bunch of bags back with me.

Walking back home from the store, I decided to take a slight shortcut through the park. As I was walking past the playground I noticed a little girl just sitting on one of the swings, being slightly pushed by the low wind.

Looking around, I didn't see anyone else there. I assumed she was alone and walked over to her. I put my bags down and crouched in front of her.

I smiled at her. "Hey, love. What's your name?" I asked the little girl. She just looked at me frowned, shrugging her shoulders. Making the strap on her tank top slide down slightly, which she quickly fixed.

Her answer, and seeing her sad expression made me frown in return. "You don't know?" I asked confused. To which she shrugged her shoulders again, not answering the question. I'm not sure as to whether she really doesn't remember her name, or if she just doesn't want to tell me. Though I am hoping for the latter.

"Do you know how old you are?" She nods, making me smile. "How old?" She taker her hand holding it out to me, holding up 3 fingers to answer my question. She's so young.

"Where do you live, sweetie?" I ask as she jumps off the swing and stumbles a little before regaining her balance. She looks up at me and shrugs her shoulders. Oh. "Do you have a home?" She shrugs again. "How about a mommy and daddy?" she shrugs again, making me frown.

It's hard to think that this little girl may not have a home, or a family, or anyone to lover her. I couldn't even imagine what that would be like, but it's heartbreaking.

I smile at her, wanting to help her I ask, "Do you want to come with me? I can help you find your family. But you shouldn't stay here all by yourself."
