Chapter One: Life Isn't Always The Way You Want.

Tonight, for the first time since I entered the music industry, I decided I wouldn't attend the Grammy's.
I didn't feel like going out lately, I wasn't in that state of mind. Luckily, I had my bestfriend Melissa by my side.
We watched a movie for most of the night until Melissa received a call from her boyfriend, Jason.
"I'm sorry babe, but do you mind if I go meet Jason at his place ? He...
- Go, honey. I was about to fall asleep anyway."
That wasn't true but I knew Melissa and Jason's relationship wasn't at its best lately so I let her go anyway.
Right after she left my apartment, I decided to give my friend Aubrey a call. You maybe know him as Drake, he's a great friend of mine and always finds a way to make me smile.
He told me he was about to leave for the club and invited me, how sweet.
Even if it was already 2 am and I felt kind of tired, he had the right words to make me get up.
I didn't take long to get dressed and ran down to meet Aubrey down the building.

Drake

My eyes lit up when I noticed Robyn pushing the door of her building, she was incredibly beautiful tonight and I didn't think twice before giving her a compliment.
As always, she would thank me while adressing me a sweet smile.
The whole night, I couldn't stop staring at her amazing body whining to my songs. I might've even looked a little bit creepy but I honestly couldn't care less.
It didn't take long before I joined her and we ended up spending the whole night together. I didn't get much drinks because I knew I would have to drive later so I had to force Robyn to leave the club so I could get her home safe.
"Where are we going honey?
- I'm taking you back to your apartment.
- I don't want to leave !"
She always acts like a child when she's drunk and it made me smile first but I could already see that she was about to pass out.
As I stopped near Robyn's building, I felt her hand near my crotch which made me look at her in surprise.
"What are you doing ?
- What I've been wanting to do since we left the club.
- I don't think that's what you want.
- How do you know ?"
She didn't let me answer and grabbed my head to give me a kiss. I don't know what she thought I would do but she was looking like a mess and smelling alcohol, the only thing I wanted to do to her at the moment was to put her to bed.
I didn't really comment what she has done and helped her reach her apartment's door.
"I'm going to leave you there, have a goodnight.
- Goodnight, I love you."
Did she just tell me she loved me ? My brain froze for a moment but I quickly remembered she was wasted and made my way back to the elevator.

The sun woke me up this morning, I woke up feeling lost as I couldn't remember a thing from lastnight.
I only had blurry memories of me kissing Aubrey ? I couldn't remember anything else than that.
No one was by my side so I guess nothing major happened with him but I still had to check.

On the phone
"Hello ? Robyn ?
- Hey, I'm sorry, did I wake you up ?
- No, I mean yes... but it's fine. What's up ?
- Nothing, I blacked out yesterday night and I just wanted to check if I didn't do anything stupid.
- No, not of what I remember.
- But, didn't we kiss ?
- Oh, yes but I guess it was the alcohol that made you kiss me.
- Yes, that's all ? We didn't go any further I hope ?
- Well, you told me you loved me...
- Oh, that was probably the alcohol talking."
I wasn't sure about that last answer, it felt like lying to him but... I mean... I didn't love him. I just had a couple of feelings which I noticed when I spend the night with him yesterday but it would probably fade away with time. I really didn't want to mess up our friendship, not because of me.
