(Setting: A bed center stage with a window behind it, a small bedside table at each side of the bed, a dresser on the left, door on the right. It is DIANNE's bedroom a few days later, and from under the lumped sheets of the bed we hear sounds of pleasure. Then, a soft sigh, and CALLIE's head appears from the covers. She is out of breath.)
CALLIE: Alright Naughty Nellie, I've gotta get going. (She gets out of bed, fully naked. She begins to pick out her clothes from the floor and dresses herself.) I've got a meeting with, uh, so-and-so on Cedar Drive or something like that.
(DIANNE is pokes her head out from underneath the covers, and then fully sits up. She is slightly out of breath as well.)
DIANNE: You're going to leave, just like that?
CALLIE: Uh, yup.
DIANNE: When will I see you again?
(CALLIE stops at the doorway, her lips pursed. Then she turns to DIANNE.)
CALLIE: (Clicking her tongue.) Right. About that. Uh, I don't know. I'm kinda bored, you know?
DIANNE: Wha- Bored? What do you mean?
CALLIE: You sure are cute when you're clueless. (She sighs with exaggeration.) Okay, well, don't get me wrong, the sex is great. I can totally see what your boy-toy likes in you and all that, but I'm kind of over it, you know?
DIANNE: You're... leaving me?
CALLIE: Yikes. I guess I am, huh? (She opens the door to make her way out, but stops to turn back once more.) Hey, uh... tell your hubby I said 'Happy Anniversary'.
(She clicks her tongue at DIANNE once more and then exits. End scene.)
