Ban is shown to be a passionate man. He take actions based on whatever catches his interest, Elaine is the only person he has ever had understanding with.
Elaine was making her normal rounds around the forest when she heard water splashing close by and she hurried to see what had happened in the time she was gone. She looked and saw ban taking a bath in the fountian of youth. "Ban!" she screamed. "Come on elaine lets swim!" He exclaimed. "N-no!" she backed away and sheilded her eyes. "Your so shy" he said walking out of the fountain of youth, she screeched in embarrisment and threw a rock at him which he caught easily. " Put pants on at least!" she begged throwing his pants at him. "Fine" he smiled pulling them on.

"Thank you" she said opening her eyes to see him all wet and she blushed. "I know you like it" he winked making a pose. "Stop it you jerk!" she turned around and closed her eyes tightly and sat down.
"ahh" he sighed and pulled a book out his pocket and walked over and laid beside her.
"Hey At least i take baths" he sneered. She bit her lip and opened her eyes, "Ban?" she saw him close his eyes and fall asleep. "Oh ban..." she whispered and sighed, "If only you could take me away with you" she looked up a the sun and let a tear slip down her cheek in sadness.
she held her face as she cried silently and ban heard her sniffles and sat up. "Elaine.." he grasped her shoulder, "Dont cry" he said standing up in a panic, she looked up and saw him freaking out, She stood up and ran at him and hugged him tightly.

"Im sorry" she said, he hugged her back, "Sorry for what elaine?" he replied, "Im sorry for keeping you in this place like a prison, it was my prison and now its yours" she stated with tears streaming down her face. he cupped her cheeks and wiped away her tears with his thumbs.
"Elaine if this is prison then i never want to be free, this has been the best time of my life" He smiled.
"Really?" She asked smiling, "Yeah i promise" he said forcfully, "I love you ban" she said and he stopped hugging her and put her down and She stared at him, "I love you too elaine" he replied gently.
