Cheryl looks at me and rolls her eyes as she simply walks away

-next day-
Ugh today we have the dance and I hate dresses so this should be fun.
(dance outfit thingy at the top)
I hate "fancy" dresses.
Me , Veronica , and Betty arrive at the dance getting some stares as we walk into the gym.
"Betty go dance with Archie. Veronica and I will go get some punch" I wink at Betty as me and Veronica walk over to the table where the food is (AKA THE ONLY THING I NEED)
"See any guys you like?" I ask Veronica
"Nope" I laugh
I look around to see Betty by herself , I look around for Archie and he's talking to Mrs Grundy- wait why would he be talking to her?
He already got an appointment with her, at least that's what he told me-
my thoughts are suddenly interrupted by Veronica yelling at me
"ALISSA- EARTH TO ALISSA" She snaps in my face
"Oh sorry I zoned out" I giggle
"Look at Betty and Archie" I look over to see them dancing together
"I ship it so hard ahh" I smile
"Let's go dance with some cute guys" Veronica drags me onto the dance floor
We dance for a while until Calm Down By G-Eazy starts playing
"G-Eazy is meh shit" I start rapping
We dance to a couple more songs until the dance ends
We go to Cheryl's after party which I am in fact dreading.
"We are going to play a classic game of 7 minutes in heaven" Cheryl smirks
"Archie how about you go first" Betty stiffens
Archie spins the bottle and of course ... it lands between Betty and Veronica
"Oh Betty look it landed on you" Veronica says trying to get Betty to go with Archie but of course "Well ... It looks like poor Betty doesn't wanna go. It's Veronica's turn then" I freeze
oh shit. Is she actually gonna do this?
Veronica and Archie go in the closet and Betty runs out of the house (I think they were in Cheryl's house idk. Correct me if I'm wrong)
I stand up to go after her but I decide that I should give her some time alone and check on her later.
Reggie comes and sits beside me "what Reggie" I say with a roll of my eyes
"You look hot as fuck Alissa" Reggie tries to kiss me but I push him off and try to go relax. I didn't want to take Archie's car so I walked to Pops.
I see Jughead. "Hey" I sit in the booth
"How was the dance?" He grins
"Terrible.Betty's upset and I wanted to give her some time alone to think. Reggie's being a douche as usual. Oh and the dance sucked. I'm such a loner ha"
I sigh and put my head down
"I'm working on my book. Sorry you had such a bad night. For what it's worth, any guy would be lucky to have you, or even dance with you." He closes his laptop
"Thanks" I fake smile
"Wanna go walk with me?" He asks knowing I love walking when I'm upset
We leave Pops and start walking towards my house
