(A/N: thank you again for 1K reads <3)

alissa andrews.

I get up for school doing my usual morning "routine" and making my way to school.
Of course everyone was gossiping about Kevin and Moose finding Jason's body in the river.
I ignore it as usual, getting my books from my locker. I make my way to homeroom.
I walk to lunch with Veronica, Kevin, and Betty
"So what did Moose want" Veronica laughs
"Oh, my gosh. I don't even think he knows. I mean I am devastatingly handsome in that classic pre-accident Montgomery cliff kind of  way and sexuality is fluid but can someone named Moose actually be that fluid?" We laugh
"Okay well I ship it" Veronica grins
"Well of course you do, you're a big city girl with loose morals." Me and Betty give each other a a sympathetic look
"I just meant that Moose has an official girlfriend Mitch"
"Anyways, part of me just wishes he would stay in the darn closet." We get to the lunch table and of course, Archie is already there.
"Obviously, I didn't mean the literal closet." You could practically feel the awkward tension
"Archie. Any new material you wanna try out on a forgiving audience? Please" Veronica sits down
"Would you? I'd love to hear it" the rest of us sit
"I'm still working on the lyrics so" Archie begins singing his song.
I look over to Betty as he finishes
"Betty. You okay?" Betty sighs
"I'm supposed to say yes, that's what the nice girl always says but no I'm not. I want to be- I thought I could be but it's too much too fast- Archie-" Betty starts running off
"Betty- Betty wait" Archie runs after her to the point where we're only able to hear the faint yells.
We eat in silence, the awkwardness filling the air
-that night-

I'm in my room doing my homework when Jughead knocks on my window.
As usual I make my way over to the window and let him in
"Alissa there's something important I need to tell you-" I laugh "Slow down. You're talking too fast"
"I saw something today.. something I wasn't supposed to see." I nod signaling for him to continue
"Well what did you see?" I ask puzzled
"Mrs Grundy and Archie. They were both in the music room., kissing" He admits sighing
"You're sure that it was Archie?" I give him a stern look "Yes, one hundred percent"
"I don't even know what to think- I just– we- we ukh we have to confront him about it." I sigh

"That's why I came here. Is he home?"

"No. He went to get food from Pops but he's on his way home now."

"I'll wait on the steps. You stay in your room, I got this"

It was of course the next day of school
As I walked in the student lounge to talk to Jughead.

"And here's another unsolved mystery. Moose what exactly were you and Kevin doing at the river- or does being the sheriffs son give you a free pass huh Keller?" Reggie turns around facing Kevin
Betty and Kevin continue talking as Reggie continues to be an ass.
I walk over to Kevin and Betty
"I mean think about it., if a kid at Riverdale were to kill Jason it's not gonna be a jock right.
Now let's be honest isn't it always some spooky, scrawny, pathetic internet troll who's to busy running his manifesto's to get laid? Some smug , moody, serial killer fanboy freak? Like Jughead" Reggie continues
"What was it like Suicide Squad? When you shot Jason, you didn't do stuff to the body like
have to."
"It's called necrophilia Reggie, can you spell it?" Jughead fires back
"Oh shit" I whisper
Reggie jumps up to fight Jughead
"Shut the hell up Reggie" Archie steps in
"What does it matter to you Andrews.... Holy crap did you and Donnie Dario kill him together? Was it some sort of pervy blood brother thing?"
Next thing I know Archie and Reggie are beating the shit out of each other.
