Love never dies

Chapter 11: L.A

Beca's POV:
I made it to L.A about 3 weeks ago and I feel like shit. My heart hurts. I miss Chloe so much. I never knew it would hurt this much. I miss having her by my side. I miss waking up and seeing her there. This apartment is so empty without her. I know she's happy where she's at, but, I need her here. I miss her like crazy.
Beca has been interning at an amazing music production company. She's been having a blast. She has her own office, she's getting paid, she's doing what she loves.
"Beca. The office is gonna out tonight, you in" Kyle, a guy that works with Beca asks.
"Uhm. Sure" Beca said hesitant.
"Awesome. It's at a club called hotspot, see you there at like 9" Kyle said as he's walking away.
Beca got home and the first thing she did was FaceTime Chloe.
"Ugh. Hey baby. I miss you so much" Chloe said as she answered the call.
"I miss you too. I'm gonna go out with some guys from work tonight, just wanted to call and tell you that I love you so much" Beca said smiling.
"Sounds good. Making friends eh" Chloe said
"Sorta. Just figured I need to get out" Beca said softly.
"Okay baby. Well I have to go. Duty calls, I love you so much. You're my whole world, forever and always" Chloe said as she blew a kiss to the camera
"Forever and always babe!" Beca hung up.
It was about 8 and Beca still wasn't ready.
Beca hurried and threw on some skinny jeans, a band tee and some converse, and she was out the door.
She arrived at the club and found Kyle and some of the other guys. It was a super chill club, small and very intimate. Beca made herself welcome and sat down at the table.
"Hey Mitchell" Kyle said as he pulled her in for a hug
"Hey bud" Beca said with a slight chuckle.
"So, you know Aaron, max, and Andrew" Kyle said as he pointed at the guys.
"Yeah, yeah! Hey guys" Beca said as she waved to everyone!
"So Mitchell, tell us about yourself" Aaron said
"What do you wanna know" Beca said as she placed an order for a beer and two shots.
"Well, are you single? Or do you have a boyfriend" Aaron asked slyly
"I am not single, engaged actually" Beca said with a big grin
"Awe. He's a lucky man"
Beca almost choking on her drink burst out laughing, she thought the guys knew that she was gay. 
"Ahh. No. I don't like dick, my fiancé is a woman" Beca said unable to stop laughing.
"Shit. Really?" Aaron asked shocked. "Can we see a picture"
Beca pulled out her phone and got a picture of Chloe out, and showed the guys.
"God damn, you put a ring on that? She's so fucking hot" Aaron and many of the other guys said
"Down boys, yeah. She's all mine. We've been together for about 4 years now" Beca said with the biggest smile.
"You're lucky" Kyle said, sad.
"Yeah. I really am" Beca said.
"Where is she, why didn't she come with you" max asked
"We are currently in a long distance relationship, she lives in Seattle" Beca said beginning to get sad.
"Damn. You trust her? A hot piece of ass like that, alone and you're not there, damn" Andrew said making Beca uncomfortable
"Yeah. I do. I trust her. I trust her more than anything. She's the love of my life" Beca said. "But I'm actually gonna head out, it was nice talking to you all, let's do this again" Beca said waving at all the guys.
"Hey, wait. Let me walk you home" Kyle asked
"Uhm. Okay. Sure" Beca said hesitant
The two walked home, she lived about 10 minutes away from the club.
"So. Do you really have a fiancé, or did you just say that" Kyle asked confused
"I really have a fiancé" Beca said sternly
And by the grace of god, Chloe decided to FaceTime Beca at the exact moment Kyle was questioning her
"She's actually calling me right now" Beca said with a smirk. "Hey baby, what's up" Beca said to the phone.
"Nothing much, I just missed you, needed to hear your voice. But I need your tongue more than anything right about now" Chloe said
"Ahh. Hey, calm down horn dog, I'm with a coworker right now" Beca bit her lip and pulled Kyle in so that Chloe could see him.
"Oh. Damn. I'm sorry. Pretend you didn't hear anything" Chloe said now embarrassed.
"Don't be sorry. You're all good. Nice to meet you, Beca talks highly of you" Kyle said to Chloe.
"She better!" Chloe said with a chuckle. "Hey. Call me when you get home okay baby" Chloe asked Beca.
"Okay! I love you"
"Love you too"
The two hung up.
After a 10 minute walk, Beca finally arrived home and thanked Kyle for walking her.
Beca called Chloe back and the two talked for hours and eventually the two drifted off to sleep!
