As Dawson got on the bus he started to listen to The Voices in My Head/Stick to the Plan by Big Sean. That was his pump up song. He had to get motivated all today so that when 6:30 comes he's ready to play some football. They were going against Appling which was weird because Appling never won a single game that season. Apparently they beat Elmore some how which put them in the championship against the Lynx. Just like last year the Lynx were undefeated hopefully they win tonight and they make it two full years of wins. Dawson couldn't think of anything other than football he was even listening to ESPN on his phone. He was listening to his favorite player saying that he would stay on his favorite team forever. The favorite player was Jordan Reed and the favorite team of course was the Washington Redskins. He loved them because his dad loved them ever since he was little. Finally school was over and Dawson could barely wait till 6:30. Right when he got off the bus he ran home and started playing football with his dad. Finally it was time to leave and Dawson turned on his song by Big Sean and started to get in the zone as he was about to prove if he was meant for football or not. As they got to the field Dawson went to go warmup with the team. It was time for their team to get their chants going on and start hitting their thigh pads loudly like the sound of an army drum when going to battle. Which in Dawson's case it was the exact same situation. Thigh pads used as army drums and two sides of the world battling Elmore and Bon Lin. He was nervous with excitement. The game started not even one minute in and Dawson already helped make a touchdown. He blocked his man to the left making a wide open whole in the line for a reciever to come through and catch the ball for an easy touchdown. Towards the 3rd quarter it was tied 21 to 21. Then Bon Lin gave it to their running back Robert Giamo which is pretty much a dude that can fly as fast as jet. Robert was guaranteed to be in the NFL no doubt what so ever. When they gave it to him he was gone for a touchdown. Then 4th quarter came Dawson got put in on defense which he was fine with. He had so much faith that they were going to win he barely even tried on defense. Until the last play when they started getting way to close to the in zone and Dawson knew he had to do something. Right when the ball was snapped Dawson threw down his defender and went straight for the quarterback. The quarterback didn't see him coming until he saw the whites of his eyes. Dawson saw the quarterback pull his arm back to throw but Dawson smacked his arm midthrow which caused the ball to spiral about ten feet up in the air. Dawson popped right up and caught it and just layed on it. He stood up and just watch the clock run out which meant that they had won the championship two years in a row without losing a single game. His football story wasn't anywhere near over yet though he still had highschool to prepare for.
