His 7th grade year he got to big to play running back so he was on the offensive line. He didn't really care though just like the first time he didn't care what he was doing as long as he was on a field designed for the best sport in America. Since he was in 7th grade he didn't get to play much because the 8th graders were first string. Dawson really only got on if it was a B-team game or if they were killing the other team and didn't really care anymore. The Lynx went undefeated that year and won the championship. Dawson had eight months to prepare for the year that really mattered, the 8th grade year. The 8th grade year is when he had to really try to play. In July they started with conditioning which in blazing heat didn't feel so good."What the hell are we doing in blazing heat I thought we had to sit under the shade if it was over one billion degrees outside" Dawson said."For real it's hot as fuck out here I've already drank my whole three tons of water" Jakobi said. Jakobi was a starter as well as Dawson but not a linemen."Special teams over here with me, and linemen with Bull. Bull was the scariest thing Dawson had ever seen. In other words Bull was the most hard working and torturous coach on the team. Of course Dawson had to end up being a linemen which caused him to have Bull as a coach. Bull made them do bear crawls, up downs, tire flipping, squat position for one minute, and push-ups. The only thing Dawson could think about was his bed and how good he was going to sleep that night.
