Cassie turned back to face Sal and smiled. Curiosity overwhelmed her thoughts before he began to talk."I'm sorry if that came across as rude, but er..you see, I'm on a prank show in America, whereby my friends and I try to humiliate each other. I was told what to do when you came up to the bar. I'd really appreciate it if you came with me, to sort out signing things and stuff." Sal explained, with a slight feeling of guilt written across his face.
"So..you staring at me...were you told to do that?" Cassie questioned, as she began to feel upset that it may have been a joke. Sal shook his head. He grabbed ahold of Cassie's hand and took her behind the bar and into a small room to the side. In there was a group of people, all in which looked a part of a filming crew. He took her over to a table, by pressing his hand against the small of her back.
On the table was a piece of paper and pen at the ready for her to sign, to say that she's happy with her face being on television.
After signing, Sal took her through another door, which lead out to the back of the building, with a dim light to shine down the alleyway. Sal turned to face Cassie and began to explain what happened.
"You see, I was waiting for the orders from my friends via the earpiece in my ear. As I was waiting, I saw you. You looked sad, so I walked over closer to you to see if I could hear why. Nosey, I know but I heard what you were saying about yourself and all I could think was how on earth did you get those thoughts into your head." Sal went on to explain. At this point, he was running his index finger gently up and down Cassie's hand. "I totally disagree with your thoughts, er.." he paused, as if to question her name.
"Cassie" she replied.
"Cassie, I'm Sal...you were the most beautiful girl in the room tonight." Sal whispered into her ear.
"Oh I don't think so-" Cassie argued, but was interrupted by the connection of Sal's lips onto hers. She leant back slightly, in shock of what was happening. After a second or two she began to kiss back, a burst of butterflies in her stomach as the kiss continued on.
As they both pulled away, Sal took ahold of Cassie's hand and interlaced their fingers together.
"I'm sorry if that was a little too forward" he chuckled "but I couldn't wait any longer." A smile appeared from the corner of his mouth. Cassie remained silent. Speechless from the feelings that she had just experienced. A minute had passed and she still hadn't said anything. "Cassie? I'm sorry...was that- was I wrong...I-I" Sal began to stutter, as he pulled his hands from her and started to panic that he had upset her. He looked down at his feet, disappointed in his actions. Why was I so f*cking stupid! was the only thought crossing his mind at this moment in time. Within seconds, Cassie's lips came crashing onto Sal's as she continued from the earlier kiss.
As they had finished kissing, Sal looked into Cassie's eyes with a small smirk on his face, "Could I maybe get your number so we can arrange to have a proper first date?" He asked, now with a puppy dog look on his face.
"Sure" Cassie giggled. She wrote down her number on a napkin that she had taken from inside the bar.
"Wow...thanks Cassie, I'll text you at some point...see you soon" Sal said as he smiled.
"Thank you for being so nice to me tonight, Sal." Cassie called out as Sal headed back indoors.

"What have you been up to?" Lily smirked as Cassie returned to the table. As Cassie sat back down with her friends, she couldn't contain the smile that was eating her alive from inside. "What did I tell you Liam! They did it! In the alley!" Lily blurted out, without paying attention to the volume of her voice.
"Hey, would you keep it down?!" Cassie said with a stern look. "He took me outback so I could sign a contract for a television show he's on, which is why he's been acting oddly. That's all." Cassie explained to Lily and Liam.
"Wait a minute..." Liam turned to Cassie, "I knew I knew his face from somewhere!" he yelled. "Yeah, yeah yeah...he's on a program called Impractical Jokers." Liam continued. "Oh my god! You're gonna be on TV!" he exclaimed.
"Calm down" Cassie laughed, "It may not even be put in the episode! Besides...I may or may not have gotten his number after a quick smooch." Lily's mouth dropped open.
"I knew there was more! You little lovergirl!" she laughed as she mockingly elbowed Cassie in the side. Cassie smiled.

You know what...tonight wasn't so bad after all, she thought to herself as she tucked herself up into bed. I wonder when Sal will text me. If he does at all, that is, she thought as she slowly drifted off to sleep.
