An hour had passed and finally, Sal's flight was called, to say that the plane was ready for boarding.

"Hang on Cassie, I'm on my way." He muttered to himself, as he sat down in his assigned seat.

Meanwhile, Cassie was in great pain at the hospital. Her contractions were getting worse as time went on. She didn't know if she was able to keep the babies from being born before Sal arrived.

A doctor walked into the room and proceeded to check how dilated Cassie was.

"About 8cm. You're doing great Cassie. The babies shouldn't be much longer now." She smiled.

"No! No! They can't be, my husband, he's-he's not back yet." Cassie frowned.

"I'm sorry Cassie...the babies won't wait any longer once they're ready." The doctor walked out of the room.

Bessy wrapped an arm around Cassie's shoulder to console her.

"Don't worry Cas. He'll get here in time. I know he will." She smiled, reassuring Cassie.

Sal's flight had landed, no longer had his feet barely touched the ground, he sprinted out of the airport, calling for a taxi.

He chucked his bags in the back and got into the seat, he buckled himself in.

"Where to?" The driver asked.

"The hospital and be quick! My wife's in labour!" He called, still panicking.

Whilst in the car, Sal received a text from Q.

Joe, Murr and I send our love Sally boy. Hope everything goes okay x

Sal didn't have time to reply. As soon as the taxi pulled into the hospital car park, he paid the driver, grabbed his bags and ran through to reception.

"I need to know where Cassie Vulcano is now!" He shouted at the receptionist.

"Sir, please calm down. What is your relation to her?"

"I'm her husband for god's sake! I need to be with her now! She's having my babies as we speak!" His voice full of fear.

"She's in room 316." The receptionist bluntly replied.

"Finally" Sal muttered under his breath, as he ran through the hospital to find Cassie.

**

The doctor returned to Cassie's room, to check up on how far along she is.

"10cm. Congratulations, you're about to become a mother." The doctor smiled.

"No!" Cassie screamed through her pain. "He's not here yet! Sal isn't here yet!" She cried.

"I'm sorry, we can't tell the babies to wait." The doctor sighed.

Cassie was rolled into the delivery room on her bed. Her hand was clasped tightly round Bessy's, as she began to push.

Suddenly, the doors burst open and Sal ran in.

"I'm here, I'm here baby." He cried, as he kissed Cassie in the forehead.

Cassie began to push with every contraction. It was painful, but it was all worth it just to bring her children into the world.

The first baby to be born was Anthony. The nurses took him away, as Cassie proceeded to give birth to Riley.

Within minutes, Riley was screaming and crying. Proving how powerful her lungs were.

"You did it baby." Sal cried, as he held Cassie's hand tight.

"They're beautiful!" She replied, tears streaming down her face.

After both babies had been checked over and Cassie had been cleaned up and returned to her room, two nurses brought in the twins. Anthony was handed over to Sal. He cradled his son in his arms, feeling a tear roll down his cheek.

"My-my son." Sal gulped. Smiling from ear to ear. He rocked his newborn son in his arms and hummed a little tune.

Cassie held their daughter Riley, as she peered across the room to Sal.

"Thank you..." He whispered to her.

"For what?" Cassie giggled.

"For gifting me with two beautiful children. I never thought this day would come but you, you made it all happen Cas. I've loved you ever since I first laid eyes upon you." He smiled a tearful smile and continued to rock Anthony.

"WE made it happen Sal. It takes two to make a baby you goof." She laughed, gesturing for Sal to come over so she could kiss him.

"You know what I mean." Sal chuckled. He strolled over to the side of the bed and sat down on the edge. He pulled out his phone and began to text everyone he knew.

Cassie and I would like to announce the birth of our two beautiful little angels. Anthony and Riley.

His phone was flooded with congratulations from his family and friends.

"Just the fans to tell now." He smiled. He lifted his phone and snapped a photo of his beautiful family of four. He captioned it;

The Vulcanos are now a family of four. Welcome to the world Anthony and Riley. I am so proud to be a father and I am beyond proud of my sweetheart of a wife Cassie. Love you baby, God bless. X

The comments poured in from the fans, congratulating them both on becoming parents.

Sal slipped his phone back into his pocket and turned to face Cassie.

"I love you, goofball" He smiled.

"I love you too, you dope." She giggled.
