Today was the day. The day that Sal and Cassie will come together as one, to become Mr and Mrs Vulcano.

**

Sal straightened his bow tie, as he looked at his appearance in the mirror. Grumbling to himself whenever something moved out of place.

"Oh!" He mumbled, as he fiddled about with his bow tie. "Murr?! How the hell do you put up with these things? I can't get mine to look right!" Sal whined.

Murr let out a chuckle before walking over to Sal to help him out.

"Come here, man. It's so easy!" Murr sorted out Sal's tie, before patting his shoulders. "You're all set bud" Murr smiled. Sal showed a toothless smile back.

Sal slowly began pacing back and forth, his breathing rate increasing with every turn. He was panicking, worried that he wouldn't be able to be good enough for Cassie. Q grabbed ahold of Sal's shoulders and stopped him from moving.

"Bud, calm down...everything will be fine..." Q placed his forehead against Sal, with his hands placed either side of Sal's face. "Breathe in..." Q inhaled, with Sal copying, "and breathe out." Q instructed Sal to breathe until he was able to calm himself down. Sal nodded towards Q to thank him. Q pulled him in to a hug, gripping Sal with all his strength.

Q went to sit back down before Joe strolled up to Sal.

"Listen buddy, today is going to be the best day of your life! You're marrying the girl you love and most importantly she loves you." Joe smiled, wrapping his arms around Sal, comforting him.

Sal nodded in reply and turned to face himself in the mirror. One hair was sticking out of place. Sal grabbed his comb and gently fixed his hair. It was neatly combed over, his beard had been trimmed and he was wearing the glasses that Cassie adored. His outfit consisted of a black suit, with a turquoise waistcoat and bowtie. He had a matching flower placed into his top pocket. The colours matching with the dresses of the bridesmaids.

His groomsmen were wearing the same attire as Sal. Q's hair had been swept back, held in place with gel. His beard had been trimmed and for once, he didn't look homeless. Joe's hair had been left in it's natural spike and Murr, bless him, he didn't have to bother about a hairstyle...just his eyebrows. Which had been perfectly styled.

"Ready, bud?" Joe asked, as the four walked down the halls, to where the ceremony was being held.

"As ready as I'll ever be." Sal breathed, trying to get his mind to focus.

**

Cassie walked out of the bathroom, with her hair and make-up done. Her gown flowed down to the ground. It had laced patterns all the way down, with sequins. Her veil was in place and she was ready to go.

"How do I look?" She asked, turning round to her mum, sister, Bessy and maid of honour, Lily.

"Beautiful" her mum and Bessy said, whilst tearing up, reaching for the tissues.

"Absolutely gorgeous Sis!" Her sister giggled.

"Stunning, simply stunning!" Lily cried, as she hugged Cassie.

Cassie pulled her veil over her face, as Lily picked up the end of her dress, so it wouldn't get ruined. They walked down the hall, into the room where she'd wait before walking down the aisle.

**

Sal was greeting all of the guests, as the chairs began to fill up. Joe, Murr and Q were already stood where they needed to be.

As the final guests sat down in their seats, Sal gave the minister a nod, to say that they were ready. Sal stood at the front of the hall, facing the front. He didn't want to ruin the surprise of seeing Cassie until she reached the front.

The music began and the doors swung open. The first bridesmaid, Cassie's sister, walked down the aisle alongside Murr. They reached the front and Murr placed a kiss onto her cheek and went to stand beside Sal.

Next, Joe walked Bessy, the second bridesmaid, down the aisle. They were accompanied by Milana, who was placed on Joe's hip. He kissed Bessy on the lips when they reached the front and handed Milana across, waving at her before standing next to Murr.

The final bridesmaid to walk down the aisle was Lily. She linked arms with Q as they slowly strolled down the aisle. As they reached the end, Q kissed her on the cheek and stood alongside Sal. Lily turned to wave at her boyfriend, Liam, before standing alongside the other bridesmaids.

"Would those who are able to, please rise for the bride." The minister said, slowly raising his arms up, to gesture towards the audience.

The doors at the end swung open, Cassie stood there, linking her arms into her father's. They slowly walked down the aisle, before reaching the front. Sal turned his head, to be met with the most beautiful sight he'd ever seen. He smiled, his eyes filling with tears.

Cassie's father kissed her on the cheek, before he went to sit down. Sal shook him by the hand. Her father pulled him into a hug, before whispering into his ear.

"I'm proud of you Sal. Welcome to the family." Sal smiled and thanked him.

"You may now be seated." The minister spoke.

"Ready?" Sal whispered to Cassie, with a grin on his face.

"Ready." Cassie smirked.
