Chapter 7: "sweet we're in"

Maddy's POV

"Theo" I whispered trying to calm him down
But nothing worked. His chest was rising and falling, very very fast and I swear if looks could kill, I would've been dead. Not joking. I place my hands on his face and make him look at me.
"Theo. Look it's me. Please calm down" I say and surprisingly it worked. Then Jake , of course Jake had to ruin our moment and storm over to us and say "this isn't over " looking at the both of us but pointing at me.
I turn to him and say " Look around Jake you have already created such a big scene and please don't make this any bigger than it already is. Just go."
But of course he wouldn't listen. He tried to hit me again, but this time Lydia caught his hand,
"GO you fucking dickhead stop being so clingy" She growled
And I watched as he stormed off, pushing through the big crowd that had formed around us.
I turn to the crowd and say "THERES NOTHING TO SEE HERE, YOU CAN ALL GO AND EAT YOUR LUNCH NOW!" But nobody moves.

Then an angry Theo says, " SHE SAID GO!" And everyone quickly scrambles. Wow.
I then turn to Theo and slightly smile at him.

"Thanks for that. No-one has ever fought for me like that before." I say

"Well he was going to hit you and I'm assigned to you , it's all part of the package deal" he smiled

"so, who was he anyway?"

"Just an ex" I say looking down

" Oh and by the way I'm really sorry about breaking your nose I just thought that you wer-"

"HEY MAN WHATS UP!" Kai asks Theo interupting me from what I was saying.

"Hey!!" Theo says, them doing a bro hug.
He then turns to me and says "what were you saying ?"
"Um nothing, Just thank you" I say and walking off to my friends

*** LUNCHTIME ***

Lydia's POV:
It was finally lunchtime and all three of us, me Madalyn and Hazel were currently in the lunch que waiting for our food. I was getting pasta, Hazel was getting fish and chips and Madalyn was getting pizza. Of course, she loves pizza. If someone was dying she still wouldn't give up her pizza. 😂😂typical Madalyn😂😂
Once we got our food, we made our way to our usual table.

Hazel's POV:
Once we had gotten to our table I sat down next to Alec and Madalyn sat on his other side leaving Lydia out. Hehe.. Alec and Madalyn had known each other since birth, and when she introduced all of us, we all just became best friends. We don't know what we would do without him.
"Hey Alec" I smile
"ALEC" Madalyn screamed tackling him into a giant hug. He just laughed at her and hugged her back.

"Hey hurricane Hazel, still not giving up the chips I see, and you and your pizza Mads" he laughs shaking his head at the both of us.

"Shut up!" We both yell in unison smacking his arms. He groans rubbing both his arms complaining about how much it hurts. Whatever Alec.

"What about me you shitface?" Lydia says

"Hmm" he says rubbing his chin, "I never really liked you lyds, joke. But seriously it's great to see you guys"

Basically Alec had gone on a road trip with our other friends, Shane and Aiden who are god knows where, and yeah we hadn't seen them ever since.

"So found anyone promising yet" I wiggle my eyebrows.

His brows knit together and his face falls into serious mode. "Well here goes nothing." He whispers but we all manage to hear. We look at him confused and he takes a deep breath and confesses "I'm gay".

Mads then jumps in her seat and holds both of Ur hands out shouting " I knew it! I knew it! Pay up bitches! That'll be $30 each!" She says looking at me and Lydia smiling.

Alec turns to us in shock. "You guys bet on me being gay?" He then turns to Mads and says, " and you! You knew this whole time and you didn't even think to tell me?!"

"I've known you my whole life, babe. You can't keep a secret from me." She chuckles patting his shoulder.

I giggled. "Well we wanted you to find out yourself and not put pressure on your mind. Because we know you won't even sleep at night because you will just keep thinking and thinking and thinking and thin-"

"Ok ok I got it gosh" says a flustered Alec. We all chuckled at Alec, smiling that he finally confessed.
Right now, we were all laughing at Mads who was stuffing her face with pizza and slowly sipping on her diet coke. Mads, the fat shit that doesn't get fat. 😂😂
I then hear voices behind me, coming closer. I look behind and see the 3 troublemakers: Kai, Nick and Theo. Of course. They just can't get enough of us. Ugh. I roll my eyes as they come to the table and sit on the chairs as if we're friends. Ughhhh. Kai who, was glaring at Alec, sat next to me, slinging his arm around my shoulders. Then Nick did the same to Lydia and Theo who was about to do it to Mads, but Alec beat him to it. Thanks Alec.

Mads can't really defend herself, so she's lucky she has Alec and us to be there for her. See, the problem with Mads is that she's not very confident and wont be able to defend herself with words, but she sure can use violence, encouraged my Lydia, obviously. I mean she broke Theo's nose. I chuckle to myself at the thought and Kai asks , " Something funny babe?"

I look up at Kai who still has his arm around my shoulders and say, " oh nothing Kai just the fact that you think stalking us and assigned to watch us" making air quotes, "doesn't make us friends. It never will" and I forcefully grab his arm that was on my shoulder and push it off sassily. He frowns at this causing me to smirk.

I look at Lydia and notice she did the same with Nick who was also frowning.

"So, what are you girls doing tonight?" Theo asks trying to break the tension, glaring at Alecs arm around Mads wow, he's taking this assignment wqay too seriously.

I smirk and turn to Lydia and Mads giving them knowing looks

"Nothing just having a girls slumber party, where we paint our nails.." Lydia starts

"And do our makeup and watch all those romantic girly movies that make boys cringe.." I continue twirling a piece of my hair and smiling at them innocently.

"Care to join boys?" Mads finishes smirking at all the boys excluding Alec, who looks as confused as ever.

We look at the three of them as they share looks and say at the exact same time, "sweet, we're in" smirking to us now, leaving us all confused.

Great! Plan failed. 😑
