Lydia's POV

The bell rings meaning the end of college day but this also means seeing the boys. Ughh why does life have to be so difficult? God help us. I grab my things to walk out when Toby grabs my hand. Oh right freaky Toby just what I needed. So I've known Toby for as long as I can remember and he's had a crush on me for just as long.

I plaster a bug smile on my face and say "Hi Toby what's up?"

"Are you free today?" he asks. If anyone but him asked me that I would have said YES without hesitation. But you know...it's him.

"Sorry Toby, I'm hanging out with the girls and the guys." I say with a sympathetic smile.

"Um okay-". He was going to say something but he stopped. I wondered what stopped him and then, yep I realised after:

"So you're using us as an excuse huh? Thought you didn't like us" Nick breathed down my neck. I jumped, startled. Toby scurried away not even glancing at our direction. Great the little time he speaks he has to scare people away. Great skills he has.

"What do you want?" I asked irritated. I start walking towards my locker. he doesn't respond. I glance at him through the corner of my eye, but his face resembles a rock. Well, a very sexy rock. But not my point.

My small time of happiness ends when he speaks.

"So do you want us to buy anything for after?" He asks randomly.

"No". I respond with 1 word. I slowly glance at him again and see that he's gone like a stone, again.

Woooooooooow. Oh my god. This guy has more mood swings than a girl on her period.

I reach my locker and do what I needed to do. I looked back to see Hazel and Kai walking towards us. And so are Madalyn and Theo. They both looked like they were going to murder the boys. Once they saw me they hurried to my side.

"So are you ready girls for our big night?" Theo asks, a smirk on his face.

Me and the girls glared him down. And he did a fake whimper.

"Anyways come on, we'll drive you guys to the apartment" contributes Kai.

"How do you know we live in an apartment?" Hazel replied genuinely curious.
"I have my ways" he replies sneakily with a creepy smile on his face. Ugh. Creep alert! I roll my eyes at him.

"Sorry, but we don't get into creeps' car so we'll walk. Thank you for asking ". I said. I linked arms with Madalyn and Hazel and walked out.

Hazel's POV:

Ughhhhh. I really hate Lydia right now. Like our apartment is a 10-minute drive so imagine how long it is to walk, especially when you're really tired. Not to mention the burning sun. We've been walking for 20 minutes and that's when I collapsed.

"Wa-water" I croaked out. Maddy fell to the floor next to me. "God! I'm soo tired. I need a rest." Maddy said. Lydia, being the fitshit she is just shrugged, mumbled a 'whatever' and carried on walking down the road till she was just a tiny speck of black.

I was just about to scream in frustration when a very familiar voice said, "Need some help?". THANK THE BUDDHAS AND ALLAH AND JESUS!

I snapped my head to the direction of the voice and there stood a very amused Kai, Theo and.... What was his name? Niall? Yeah, Niall? Niall stood with a water bottle in his hand. I got a sudden sense of adrenaline and jumped up, grabbed the bottle and gulped the whole thing.
