Chapter 10: Cupid, you better start working you magic.
Hazel's POV:
The boys left like half an hour ago because they said they had "something to do" . Ugh I just hope they can go back to what ever bitchy planet they came from. AND it's getting late now so yeah it's good they went.
I'd totally be lying if I said that whilst I look like a normal person eating a delicious blue velvet cake (thanks Maddy), I'm not freaking out inside like a mad person. The things Lydia just said are ringing in my head like a fricken bell.
What do they mean, at 3.pm?
What's at 3 p.m?
They are going to kill us. I know it. I have this very bad feeling in my stomach and I just can't shake it o-
"HAZEL" I hear someone shout stopping me from carrying on with my mental ramble.
"Yeah?" I said whilst bringing the cup of coffee to my mouth and taking a sip. Why is it cold? How long have I left it here for? Probably long because it's not even warm. Great.
"God, sometimes, I wish I was Edward Cullen, so I could just know what goes in that big mind of your's," Lydia said whilst staring vigorously at my forehead. I let out a little giggle before finishing off the remainders of my cake and gulping down my cold coffee. I grabbed everyone's dishes and placed them in the sink and started to wash them.
"Guys, I know you said not to worry, but it's just that I have this really, really bad feeling in my stomach and it won't go away. I just don't know what to do." I say drying my wet hands with a tea towel.
"Honey, I know what you're feeling because we have a bad feeling too but you know we are going to figure out what's going on and I promise you our plan will work," Maddy said whilst pulling me in a tight embrace.
God Maddy reminds me of my mother since I never really had one. Maddy always used to pretend that me and Lydia were her children but obviously Lydia gagged at the thought of that. But Maddy acts immature half her life though so she's technically a mother quater the time but still. This moment just reminded me of my nieces and nephews.
Yup, that's right. I have an older sister called Hannah, who is 27 and has 4 children. 2 are twins, Ruby and Jade (who are 5) and they have a sibling who is 2 years younger called Sam (he's 3 if you can't do the maths) and last but not least Kevin who is only 1. They are the cutest family ever and I just can't help but feel jealous that I still haven't found my one and only. I mean, Hannah and her husband, Nathan were in love from the age of 17. I'm 19 and I haven't found someone.
Cupid, you better start working your magic. I ain't getting any younger here.
Madalyn POV
We have been avoiding the boys this whole day. But they were no-where to be seen..... GOD I sound like those people narrating movies. We walked into the last two periods of the day, together and thankfully there was no teacher. Hallelujah Haaallelujaaah Haallelujaahhh Hallelujah .
"Can you shut up, you sound worse than the Incredible Hulk's wife". snarled Hazel. Woops did I sing that out loud.
"Soooorryy I had too much caramel macchiato today morning and plus my voice is inreediibllee haaters gonnaa haaatee" I say in a sing song voice
"great it's going to be one of those days" moaned Lydia.
"one of what days?" I said confused
"You'll see" Lydia mumbled.
Mr Bedlow walked in and the class hushed to silence.
"Okay- class-to-day- we- will- be- stud-y-ing- the- P-H -scale". Did I fail to mention this guy is like the slowest speaker of all time.
