Peter’s POV:
We were getting close to Neverland. Riley had fallen asleep in my arms, nuzzled up against my chest. It was soothing, her warm body pressed up against mine, her slow, methodic breathing.
I still can’t believe she’s mad at me for killing that man. I mean, he almost killed her! He practically tortured her. Riley objects that that wasn’t the case but I could see in her eyes the agony that man caused her, along with a small sense of relief after he had died, his body laying limp on the cool, metal floor of the lab.
And the appalling burns all around her upper torso. I had counted five, and they all looked awfully painful. I will take care of it once we get back to camp.
We were approaching the star, and right as I went through it a burst of wind came across me, making me plummet a couple feet. Riley woke up from the sudden movement.
“Where...” she began sounding confused. A look of anger and remembrance crossed her face.
“What is it, love?” I ask worriedly.
“Don’t call me that!” She yelled, turning away from me.
Ouch. That hurt.
“Love, please-“
“No, Pan, I’m not your ‘love’ right now. I need to think some things through before I fully forgive you. Let’s just get home.”
I increased speed. Camp came into view, and I see one of the lost boys pointing at us, jumping up and down excitedly, motioning for the others.

Riley’s POV:
Peter landed on the familiar, cool sand of Neverland’s shore and walked me over to my blanket, still carrying me bridal style in his arms. I still couldn’t walk; I was too weak.
“Here, let me go get you some food.” Peter says, and in an instant a steaming bowl of soup appeared in his hand. I reached my arms out, and took it with shaky hands. It was chicken noodle. My favorite.
“Thanks.” I said, slurping it right out of the bowl.
The warm liquid slid down my throat with ease, and my body had a sudden sensation of warmth and comfort.
Peter nods and walks over to talk to the lost boys, giving each of them long hugs. Well, except for Felix; He wasn’t much of a hugger.
I still couldn’t get over what Peter had done. He killed Dr. Sean! I mean sure, he might have deserved a small punishment for what he had done, but freaking killing him!? That took things way to far.
After Peter had greeted all of the lost boys, he came back to me.
“Feeling better?” He asked in that sweet British accent of his.
“Ya, thanks.” I replied focusing on my bowl of soup, as to not meet his gaze.
“Look, Riley-“
I cut him off.
“I know, Peter. I’m just...really mad at you at the moment.”
“I did what I had to do.” He replies with a serious tone to his voice.
“No, you didn’t!” I replied, enraged, “You never had to kill him! You just did it for your own pleasure, your own personal revenge! You could have made them all fall asleep with a sleeping spell, but no! You decide to go and kill him for his actions! He could have had a wife, kids even! How do you think they feel, now knowing that he’s dead and never coming back home, to ask them how their day was?! Sure, his actions were awful. I mean look at me,” I say, motioning towards my body, “I just feel like you didn’t handle the situation appropriately. I have never seen and never did want to see someone suffering while they die helplessly. And to top it all off, you said that you would never harm a soul! You promised! How am I supposed to trust you now?”
