Chapter 3

McKenna's POV:

2 weeks later

It was about 4 in the morning when I woke up. The reason why I'm up this early is because I had another nightmare. I've been having the same nightmare over and over. I'm getting tired of waking up early from a dream,let alone a nightmare.

After many tries of going to sleep. I decided to give up and watch tv.

A few hours later kaydon came into my room. He looked a little nervous for some reason.

I wonder what is making him nervous.

"Ann had said that you can be released today. He said quietly.

I didn't reply. I had nothing to say. If I can go, where would I go. I can't go home. I mean I no longer have a home.

"I know that I just met you awhile ago. But I know u probably have no place to go. Soo..... "He paused for a few minutes. "I have an extra room in my house that you can stay in. If you would like to. ".

I didn't know what to say. I was shocked that this sexy god of a man asked me to live with him in his house.

I just met this guy and he's asking me to live with him. Yea everyday he came into the hospital room to visit me. But I literally just met him.

But I have no other place to go. So why not take up his offer.

"Yeah sure. Why not." I replied un- surely.

His nervous smile turned into a big grin. He looked like he had just won a million dollars.

I wonder why he was so happy about it.

So here I am, Outside of a huge house. How can he have a house this big. Was he rich?

He started to laugh.(and his laugh was so adorable). I then realized why he was laughing about. I guess I was so shocked about his house that my jaw dropped. I quickly closed my mouth so he would stop laughing at me. I felt so embarrassed that my cheeks started to turn pink.

"Are you rich?" I blurted out.

"I guess you can say that." He laughed again

Wow he has such an amazing laugh.

We walked through the door and the sight was amazing. There was a living room to the right and to the left there was the kitchen, the walls were a pretty white and blue color, the house was absolutely beautiful.

Again my jaw had dropped. I was going to live in a mansion.

"Ill show you to your room, so u can settle in."

"Okay. Thank you. And um is there a mall around here. I have no clothes. And I kinda need a job.?"

"Yea there's one down town. Ill call my sister and she can take you. Also ill give you some money to buy clothes."

"You have a sister?"

"Yea her name is Jessica. You'll like her. And plus she really wants to meet you."

As we were walking we walked past a few more rooms. One looked like a

game room and the others just looked like hang out rooms. Each room had a lot of people in it.

"There seems to be a lot of people in this house. Are they all family?"

"No. Not all of them. We have a family business. And who ever works there lives here with there families."

I had nothing to say. Like why would you want all these people living in your house. It must be pretty crowded so all I said was "Cool."

I wonder what the family business was. But I left that question for another day.

We arrived at my room. It was huge. There was a queen sized bed and bathroom with a shower and hot tub. But my favorite thing in the whole room was the walk in closet. I was in love with my room.

"You like it." kaydon asked

"I love it :D."
