Chapter 9

Mckenna's POV :

"Are you done yet ?" I asked Jessica,Katie and Emily.

"It's been literally 4 minutes since we started. Just be patient." Katie said while curling my hair.

Today is the day that kaydon is taking me out on our first date. To say I'm nervous would be an understatement. My stomach kept getting butterfly's in it.

So here I am getting all done up by Jessica, Katie, and Emily. It's been only like 5 minutes but it feels like hours.

"Can I see what I look like?" These girls have yet let me look at myself in the mirror. They say that seeing yourself before your ready for a date is bad luck. And i just think there getting confused with the groom not seeing the bride before the wedding.

About another 5 minutes later I was finally given the dress I was going to wear. It was stunning. It was a strapless red colored dress with sparkles at the top.

Katie brought over the mirror so I can look at myself. When I looked in the mirror I was looking at a gorgeous girl. That couldn't of been me. I was stunning. Honestly I've never been this dressed up before. I was homeschooled and never got out much. I was living out in the woods and no one ever asked me out. I looked back at myself and smiled.

"Kaydon is going to drool!" Jessica said from behind me. I turned to look at her.

"Thank you. Thank you guys for doing this. You have no idea how much this means" I said as my eyes getting watery.

"Don't you dare cry and ruin all of our work! and it's no problem. That's what friends are for" Jessica said and came over to hug me. We wrapped our arms around each other. Soon enough Katie and Emily joins our hug.

"Okay enough of the hugging stuff. It's time for your date" Emily said over excited.

I took a deep breath the started walking down the stairs.

At the bottom of the stairs stood the most gorgeous man I have ever seen. He had a suit on along with a red tie that matched my dress. His smile grew and his eyes lit up when he saw me.

I was so nervous that I tripped over the last step. I was sure that I was going to hit the floor, but a strong pair of arms caught me. I looked up at kaydon and giggled.

"You really know how to make an entrance don't you?" He said with a smirk.

My cheeks started to feel warm. I knew that I was starting to blush so I hid my face in his chest.

"Pictures you two " yelled Jessica as she brought the camera out.

Kaydon wrapped his arm around me and I put my head in his chest and we both smiled for the picture.

After that me and kaydon walked out and towards his car. His car was amazing. It was a blue mustang. OMG can the guy get any better. I love mustangs. It was what I've always wanted.

We got in and headed to the restaurant.

When he pulled up to the place. I looked out the window. This place was huge. It was beautiful. I still don't understand how he can afford any of this, although he is the one with the giant house and awesome car.

We entered the restaurant and found a seat.

"This is a beautiful place. " I said.

"Yea. It is." He smiled. "And I've been waiting for the special someone to bring here."

I smiled at him.

"You are something"

"I know. And so are you. That what I like most about you" he said as he grabbed my hand. "You look amazing tonight"
