McKenna'a POV :

(Still the day Kenna found her house)

By the time we reached kaydons house the sun had already set. I had tears still streaming down my face from all the events that happened. Today started out amazing but ended horrible.

"Come on. Lets get you to bed. You need some rest" kaydon said wrapping his arm around me protectively.

I followed kaydon to my room. He opened the door and led me to my bed. I laid down and kaydon pulled my covers over me. He stated walking towards my door. For some reason I didn't want him to leave me alone. I quickly say up and looked at him.

"Please don't leave me. Stay with me. Please" I nervously asked kaydon.

Kaydon closed the door and came back over to me. He got into the bed with me and wrapped his arm around me.

"I would never leave you princess" he said as he pulled me closer.

Yea I know what your thinking. I'm allowing him in my bed. But some strange connection is between him an I. It's hard to explain but he is all I think about. When I sleep I no longer have nightmares, I dream of him and I. And even when I'm watching tv or trying to focus on something, it's hard. Kaydon is always on my mind.

I snuggled closer to him. I couldn't stop thinking that this is supposed to be how it is. Me and kaydon together. It was as if it was destiny. I closed my eyes waiting for the darkness to take over. But before I was fully asleep I could of sworn I heard kaydon mumble something. Then I was out.

Kaydon's POV:

(Walking home from kenna's home)

It pained me to see McKenna like this. It hurts me to know that she had to go through so much. But no matter what happens, I would never ever let anything or anybody get my beautiful mate.

The others and I stayed silent the whole way to the pack house. We wanted to give McKenna her space.

Along the way you can still here Kenna silently crying. I didn't know what to say to her so I just wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close to me.

It was dark by the time we walked through the doors. McKenna was worn out, she needed to get her rest.

"Come on. Lets get you to bed. You need some rest" I said to her as I put my arm around her waist.

We entered her room, I walked her to her bed. McKenna laid down, she smiled up at me as I covered her with her blankets. I walked to the door to leave but I heard her sit up quickly.

"Please don't leave me. Stay with me. Please" she asked nervously.

I smiled to my self before closing the door and walking over to the bed. I laid down next to her and put my arm around her securely.

"I would never leave you princess" I whispered to her.

She snuggled closer to me and got herself comfortable. I smiled at the thought of her laying close to me. She was my mate. The one who was specially made for me.

"I love you" I whispered to her without thinking twice. I didn't know if she heard me or not. But I already loved her. I mean who wouldn't love her. She was sweet, intelligent, and beautiful. I could name all the things I love about her. But that's alot to say.

I decided to stay with her all night. I laid down with my arm wrapped around her and fell asleep.

McKenna's POV :

I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. I went to get up but something was holding me down. I looked to see what it was. It was an arm wrapped around me.

I then remembered about last night. I smiled at the thought of being this close to the hot, sweet kaydon.

I turned my position so that I was looking at him. I just stared at his face memorizing everything that I love about him.

"You know that's just creepy" I heard a

Sexy voice say

I giggled at him.

"It's not creepy" I replied back

"Yes" he laughed "it is creepy".

I just smiled at him. And may I say, his sleepy voice is sexy as hell

"Why were you even staring at me anyway?" He asked.

"Because I can. Got a problem!"

"Feisty. I like it" he winked at me

I just laughed and looked him straight in the eyes. Somehow every time we look at each other in the eyes, we seem to forget everything around us.

"I'm hungry. Lets go make something" I blurted out. And at that moment my stomach decided to make its appearance.

"Come in gorgeous. Ill make you some red velvet pancakes if you want ".

"Oh my god that sounds so amazing"

Kaydon got up shirtless. Wait shirtless. When did he end up shirtless. I couldn't help but stare at his amazingly sexy abs. He was even better shirtless. If I didn't know better, I'd be drooling.

"See something you like" kaydon asked with a smirk

"Actually I do " I winked at him.

He smiled at me and grabbed my hand. At the top of the stairs, he stopped.

"Want a ride?" He asked motioning to his back.

I took his offer and jumped on his back.

"Onward my trusty stead. Giddy up" I said holding my hand up.

He just laughed at me and headed to the kitchen.

I sat on top of the counter while he made us pancakes. I kept replaying the memories I had of my parents for some reason. I missed them both. I felt alone without them. But for some reason I felt on top of the world when I'm with kaydon. We may not be together but he make me feel whole.

"Kenna. " I heard kaydon.

"Yea?" I asked.

"I've been calling you name for like 2 minutes. You seemed zoned out " he asked a little worried

"Yea. I've been thinking about things." I said while moving to the table where kaydon took our food.

"You wanna talk about it"

"No. Not really ". I said

He grabbed my hand and looked me straight in the eyes

"You know ill always be there for you no matter what "

I smiled at him

"How can a guy be so sweet?" I asked still smiling.

"I'm only sweet to you "

I couldn't help the blush that appeared on my cheeks.

"Hey McKenna. Um can I ask you something?" he asked while scratching the back of his neck.

"Sure"

"Do you maybe... uh wanna go on a date with me ?"

I froze of shock. Yea he flirted with me but I just thought that he was just being nice. But the hot man in front of me actually just asked me on a date. I was happy. My heart was flipping with joy. So the only thing I could say was..

"Yes" I said as I got up and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around me as well. He whispered in my ear.

"You have no idea how long I've been wanting to ask you that."

Hey guys sorry I didn't update in like two days. I have a lot of things to do and worry about. I have this huge project to do in Spanish and history. And it's both due on the same day. So I have to get those finished soon.

Also my birthday is February 18. I'm so excited. And to top it all off. I have winter homecoming two days before my birthday.
